Good RNS today. VER is going to be a slow burner, but with the development and launch of the cough/cold series over the next 1-3 years good times are ahead. IMHO.
Prudent use of cash by the board!
Acquisition of one or two market products to keep the sales team busy would help!

Can't help being suspicious but can't disagree with what is shown on the trades info. That's the second day recently that 5m have apparently been bought and the price hasn't blinked.
I'm not going to get excited until I know where the stock is coming from. The market makers won't hold that amount of shares waiting for a buyer so someone must be selling or there is something in the data that we are not recognising

Woodford now up to 12%- I suspect he has known Peter Fellner for many years- two good dealmakers together!
Telegraph today has Woodford setting up an investment trust in 2015- aimed at unquoted biotechs- that should shake things up. I look forward to plenty of action next year!

A nice steady flow of news here. IMO the handbrake won't be released until the heavy hitter has finished accumulating below 50p..they're doing very well at negotiating the mid for the last couple of trading sessions!

For interest, whilst looking for details of the commercial agreement between Vernalis and Verona for RPL 554, I came across this Edison research note (Sept 2014):


It seems to me that they have underestimated the rNPV for RPL554 many fold, based on what Verona are saying about future sales potential:

This has been heading steadily upwards with some large buys at the end of last week.

Don't know if this is a sign of good news to come or just more investors sharing Woodford's confidence that the CEO's strategy is showing signs of creating a sustainable business.

I have a couple of long positions and nice to be in profit for a change when there is so much red around.
