04/9/2012 18:18 | Typical of this under-performing team to concentrate on their self interest rather than that of shareholders. What about previous incentive at 1p exercise price ? it beggars believe ! Abysmal performance since inception I raised this issue before - no reaction from Nonexecs ! | jarbie
04/9/2012 16:26 | surely granting options at 19.6p for 2015 does not incentive them to do anything to increase the share vale. They can just sit back, keep raising money from shareholders...why was the price not set much higher which would have encoraged them to work harder...I am bemused...someone explain the logic of this options decision. | 4screws
22/8/2012 08:28 | Another ( small) brick in the wall! | fhmktg
01/8/2012 07:41 | Do I detect a sense of growing optimism from the six month report? Maybe there's life in the old dog yet! | fhmktg
06/6/2012 15:24 | why so many small trades of between 1 and 10 shares as sells, and again why so many sells overall | 4screws
30/5/2012 18:17 | Vernalis really should be called Invesco Asset Management Limited who lets face it own and finance VER. Personally I decided years ago never to invest another penny in VER because the business model is fundamentally flawed. AUY922 might eventually pay off in 3-4 years time but I won't see the benefit as IAML essentially hijacked VER at zero premium in Feb. You also have to ask yourself why IAML has kept financing VER when the share price has declined YoY for the last decade? old boy network? Today is an excellent example of pigs at the trough. | jp2011
30/5/2012 17:39 | I have written about VER and it's share price manipulation before there is nothing to inspire confidence but despair does this arrangement not require shareholders approval ? The company performance over the past 9 years is abysmal without any sign of improvement in sight I expect the share price to drop to about 5p on dilution alone after it's recent RI - DYOR please PS - the directors think it will drop further | jarbie
30/5/2012 15:57 | leading ladies, I agree this is absolutely appalling. | 4screws
30/5/2012 09:02 | WRT todays announcement - share options exercisable at 1p. Why not 20p i.e. todays price ? Am I missing something here or does gravy train come to mind ? | leadingladies
03/5/2012 08:34 | Plenty to come over the next twelve months in the oncology and Asthma developments ...then there is the 'new' Tris programmeas well. COULD be a transforming twelve months...but we've been there before! I've mentally put these away to look at in five years time, alongside Syepharma my other inspired investment - nearly £100k gone between them. What a mug! | fhmktg
02/5/2012 08:48 | It certainly helps the cause ! Being greedy would be great to get news on success on a phase 2/3. Not checked the pipeline recently but if memory serves me well I think this is a lot further down the road. Announcement has bolstered the share price this am so we should all be thankful for that tho' | leadingladies
02/5/2012 08:39 | Good start to AIM trading with positive phaseI result - just what you were looking for LL? | fhmktg
27/4/2012 12:48 | Post demotion to AIM will now be interesting to see how the share price fares. I suppose on the + less regulation implies less cost to the business to satisfy the requirements but on the - the bigger investors may overlook. Question is does VER need them ? All these milestone payments help but me thinks we are reliant on a v successful trial over the next couple of years to see this breakout +vely from the current trading range | leadingladies
13/4/2012 17:53 | It will be some (legal) share stablisation by the broker as part of the placing. Give it a couple more months and this dog will continue downwards. | jp2011
02/4/2012 17:42 | WE HAD SIGNIFICANT SELLS FOR DAYS NOW but the price is holding up - any reason for that ? wisdom/ignorance ? | jarbie
28/3/2012 11:09 | Personally I cut my losses on this some time ago, sadly didn't deliver on expectations in my view, although not uncommon in this sector. But good luck to those that hold. | bountyhunter
28/3/2012 10:06 | I took the allocation ( IG markets gave it to me! ) Went short about half and closed the remaining on delivery. I made a profit.. i also made a profit last year when they jumped and i bought and sold within a week... those profit meant my overall trading account is now closed in the blue!! for which I am VERY happy about.. I bought originally a few years ago in the £1.10 region. I hope I have learnt from this one.. I hope others do to!> | the heed
27/3/2012 12:04 | Vernalis has never been a viable trading operation since its inception nine years ago - nor has BBio before that - for ever supported by the loyal but misguided shareholders of which regrettably I was one AIM has its advantages but normally it is a stepping stone to full listing not the other way round - it concerns me that the Directors had a hefty RI just before de-listing - what does it say about them ? with the support of the non executive directors ? fortunately I gave it a miss this time and last time I think the share price will drop to 5 - 10p based on the dilution alone - hope no further consolidation is planned - the future on the AIM listing is uncertain please DYOR | jarbie
27/3/2012 09:36 | Probably worth a read of the above, implies tax advantages for investors and less regulatory burden (EU directives etc). I read this and feel some reassurance its not 1 step away from a delist. Co.s like Vernalis will always need the ability to raise capital in the markets for future ventures / cash burn etc. Still worried tho' !! | leadingladies
27/3/2012 09:19 | IF AS I UNDERSTAND IT..IT TRADES ON AIM does that not mean less viability, as surely on aim, less will be traded as it is a more volatile market... ok yes I am talking to myself....but any informed holder please explain. | 4screws
27/3/2012 08:37 | someone please explain the rns...will vernalis be trading as an aim share on the day of the cancellation | 4screws |
