04/3/2012 18:53 | at what point does a penny share stop being such. Lloyds were at 20p and VER at 20p. I think I know which one I would invest in? | ffp
04/3/2012 18:50 | Good for CGT losses. Without the previous 1:20 share consolidation VER would literally be a penny share. | jp2011
04/3/2012 17:42 | Results of the open offer - approx 83% acceptance - the rest placed 4.4x dilution all we need now is consolidation to keep the share price up - I don't think | jarbie
28/2/2012 19:45 | About the same as me it seems..had em for years. As said, maybe!!!!!! | ffp
28/2/2012 19:29 | 4>>> LOL, I do not have one, I decided a long time ago to let them run whatever the out come, good or bad. Bit like a lottery really. In the great scheme of things my investment is minimal. | ffp
28/2/2012 19:23 | ffp what do you see going forward, what is your time scale for your 60p | 4screws
28/2/2012 18:44 | shares already showing in hbos account. | 4screws
28/2/2012 13:47 | Just look at past experience in 2009, most recent, we had an open offer at 60p post offer it dropped to below 30p, just recently 20p in 2003 we had a consolidation of 1 for 20 in 2009 we had a consolidation of 1 for 20 the shares are a fraction of their original value now valued at a fraction of 1p of their original value I know that past experience is no guide to the future but you ignore it at your peril ... please DYOR PS - I wish it was different this time but I doubt it | jarbie
28/2/2012 12:38 | so what do we think the new price will be on the 2nd, will it fall below 20p | 4screws
28/2/2012 10:39 | This is a company that's going places! Self financing at this point is going to make it stronger. | blondeamon
28/2/2012 10:13 | I think in the current market climate they have done very well and this will change the business going forward all together. | 4screws
26/2/2012 23:38 | If VER are now self financing why have they come to the market for more cash ? self financing by tapping their own shareholders again ! that is self financing of sorts but not in my book - take that with a pinch of salt - see my post 1139 above | jarbie
24/2/2012 13:09 | Tipped last week in the IC, buy at 26p. - close watch... THey say VER is now self-financing. I think to buy a few anyhow. H. | hectorp
21/2/2012 09:05 | Thanks Ken, surprise to see you here. | homer8
20/2/2012 23:26 | Can someone tell me if I buy VER shares now will I be offerred the open offer? If so what does the term 23:16 stated in Investor Chronicles means? Thanks | homer8
13/2/2012 17:02 | What more Bud, you mean? | ffp
13/2/2012 15:37 | 4screws: I wouldn't touch this share with a barge pole (I hold for tax losses only), no one including Invesco has made a single penny out of the last 5 placings. Why is this different? The CEO's track record since 2008 has been less than stellar | jp2011
11/2/2012 14:16 | Well I'll be taking up the open offer, it's a no brainer unless share price drifts back down in the next 2 weeks..prob will sell half and keep half as I'm prepared to wait a year to see how this all plays out | knigel
10/2/2012 23:07 | It must have been one hell of a presentation for VER to be able to raise £65million.The outlined prospects must be truly mouthwatering.I am convinced that the share price was artificially walked down to 19pence and then maintained at that level whilst the new financing was put in place. IMO,as sure as night follows day,the share price will now return to 40 pence++,for starters. TRULY TRANSFORMATIONAL. HOLD ON/BUY. | mudbath
10/2/2012 20:40 | 4screws.. Me in at £4.50 you at £2.25, you think I know more than you...LOL!!! Afraid the cynic in me says this is just to ensure directors salaries are maintained for a few more years... How can the share price rise 29% on a 95% sales?? Perhaps someone should investigate? I decided a long time ago I would ride it out to the end, so I am not selling, but do I buy??? average down...yea right... | ffp |
