If the company is in need of rescue then 45 is probably ok - if not I feel it is too low - see above

re: honister - shame that you think the mm's have pushed the price up so much. I honestly think there is a significant premium to this to be paid if an offer is placed on the table. Look at the graph. IMHO PDYOR

NAV as per the last quarterly accounts was 59p

As they have written off all purchased goodwill lets assume for the sake of argument that any losses for the last four months would be covered by the goodwill premium asked by Jason Drummond for his hard work.

I say 60p is a minimum - discuss???

I never been in shares before with this company although I know the history 100% and always loved them along with Chris Ackers. What a great move swapping my Digital Animations shares for them and at least I kept my DAG thread respect as VET is a DAG's shareholder favourite.

Wow - this could be very exciting - surely Jason Drummond, one of the directors wouldn't negotiate a price below the price he has paid for his recent purchases of shares. Onwards and upwards. IMHO Good luck to all.

Just been over to their web-site. I'm sure it has been changed. New and improved look to it. This is not a compamy planning to lay down and die. IMO should get to ~75p without too much bother. It just needs to be noticed by the market.

Virtual Internet used to be called Charriol launched by Chris Ackers who played majic not long after with Sports Internet. All of Chris's companys have performed well except for Property Internet.

Market makers only were fair today on most tech/internet stocks in general by not marking them up much at all compared to how much the Nasdaq has risen lately. I think that VET should benefit from very strong trading markets in general. Market maker moods may be kind tomorrow for everything since the Nasdaq has kept its gain of late followed by a gradual increase.

Remember, Jason Drummond was buying at 45p not so long ago and he's the major shareholder. If he is prepared to risk his own money (when he's sitting on a huge pile of shares anyway)then I would of thought that this was a huge vote of confidence.

I can see these ticking up slowly. Maybe not the next Affinity but they hav a nice tidy cash pile that a few potential acquirers wouldn't mind access too. Long on VET.

Two MM's left at 25p offer. 80000T trade buy just gne through at 24p to tick up price. When some bigger players start coming forward......
Re : Alsfar - probably same thing rollover (never heard it called that before, though it could mean the same thing), cash and new - terminology only just means if they are the same shares they have not entered into circulation again and this process can only be done once with each share each taxable year.
