I am hoping this week could be good but 0.5p down at the moment and all buys. Traditionally very low volume traded with this share but 500,000 on Friday and 40,000 so far this morning suggests an increase in market interest. Definitely oversold in the past in my view. Positive trading statement a month ago with a sharp increase in trading activity mentioned. I am a holder and feeling positive about it right now. As always DYOR.

look at affinity today - its price is rocketing - up 26% to £3.15- and these were only 50p last month - not long before VET will be doing the same - it is looking extremely positive today

VET have cash of £8m or £9m and Market cap of £6m
Could easily get a bid from Affinity or someone interested in the cash

The interest is building - see today's trades - mostly buys - in my view its not long before we see it firing - please dyor - these are my views

Remember that Affinity is mainly a telecoms company now with its own network that cost &50 million to build and it bought it for &1.8 million.
It only gets 25 percent or so from internet operations and that is dropping so comparisons with internet plays don't really work.

Chadders - I too bought in last week and have an inkling that a bid is on the way, the price has been ticking up this week - I can see £1.00 in the near future imho

Josie,

Something going on here me thinks. I seem to remeber there was a large private placing at the height of the boom for £9.00 or so, and according to the management, profitability is within grasp so I would not expect a sale of the business at this low price.

I bought in last week at 22p, was in at the start at £2.50 and sold most at £7.00 but I have always liked their business model. Perhaps it has been oversold.

Interesting buy just gone through at 25p. This is 2p above the asking price. I wonder why? Does somebody know something about this very much undervalued stock?

Completely agree Irlon, but it is always useful to identify those stocks that have got at least something to underpin their share prices. It is hard to see another 50% drop from this level, although this is still possible with other stocks without such assets.
Recent newsflow has been good on this share. It moves very quickly on low volume which can be good and bad depending on your strategy.

Many internet on Nasdaq are trading well below net cash assets they have on their balance sheets. It's not inconceivable that VET could fall further since cash they had from the placing is being spent week in week out.
