ludlow - Your posts show the linguistic ability of a twelve year old. Maybe you are a twelve year old. In any event, you need to enrol on an English language course. Why would anyone pay any attention to posts that appear to be written by a barely literate twelve year old ?

vpc shares are over valued that isfact the reason they are up is due to take over by cna if they pull out they will fall like a stone fact i now think that cna should pull out having looked more carefully at vpc they are over valued by 50% at least

Nice to see a chart that looks worse than VPC since March, especially as it's them.

the CNA chart does not look great to me - a dubious investment with their desperate need to increase their domestic gas production (may be a better investment if they ultimately get VPC of course), and there's a much greater chance of a 10% gain in the VPC share price than a near 25% gain in the CNA price, imho

lets put it this way if you hold 1000.vpc and they go up 100p then that is 1k if you sell you get 3900 cna shares if they go up 50p theny you make allmost2k simple that is why i am idle and rich. no more posts good luck.

Nothing surprises me any more either, that's the main reason I stopped chopping and changing in the last 18 months, all shares were a pure gamble. Decided to stick with just 4 shares all oilers, and thanks to some topping up during the lows have done OK.

I almost bought banks and miners when I thought they couldn't fall any lower and they are still around 50% lower today than when I thought about it. Truth be told I think the market is due a correction any time soon and that is one reason I am hanging on here where i believe my investment is safe enough.
I really wouldn't know right now where to reinvest, just before Christmas might be a good time to look for some bargains, right after CNA give me £10.20/share :o)

He was touting £3.00 yesterday some people need to get real. I see the trust bought 50 odd k the other day it would not suprise me to see this go up first if the bid fails - nothing suprises me anymore !

...sounds like sour grapes from ludlow who perhaps sold out too early or is hoping to buy at bargain prices or is a shill paid by the post!
if this assumption is wrong ludlow please explain why have you suddenly appeared out of the woodwork to give us the benefit of your extensive wisdom - what is in it for you if not one of the above, or are you just feeling charitable?

Ludlow - I can only take it that you are short here be very very very careful -A shares value is the percepted value seen between buyers and sellers as yet there is no rush for the door in VPC and the market has moved up since CNA first proposed the bid.
CNA made the mistake of buying its shareholding from a desperate seller at the time - If it had of bid first then it would have had alot keener sellers but not now - the decisions made by CNA are certainly questionable now.
I do not hold here so have no real interest in which way it goes but I WOULD be a buyer in the right conditions.

Well I certainly hope your not on the CNA payroll Ludlow - but by the sounds of it you might be certainly thick enough - No offence intended.

lol! and you are even potentially giving up a guaranteed win in the annual price competition if most of us do the same (I only received a secure message from the nominee but I ignored that)! It looks as though it will now be between fidra and Hysteron the way things are going.
