28/9/2016 21:36 | I presume that the morning market will respond like the US last two hours, machine driven response to an improbable belief in the oil summit. apad | apad
28/9/2016 20:45 | MYSL Outlook - Prelims 28sep2016 ''The group has had a good year in FY2015-16 with significantly improved operational performance and solid progress against its strategic aims. There has been an encouraging start to the current financial year, with trading ahead of expectation and, although the group's key trading period still lies ahead, the board is confident in the group's prospects for the year. The new strategic partnership with Sports Direct is testimony to the capabilities the group is able to offer large retail partners and alliances such as this will provide further catalyst to the growth plans. The group's diversified international operations should be well insulated from any uncertainty associated with the United Kingdom's prospective exit from the EU and in the immediate term the group will experience some benefit from a weaker GBP Sterling exchange rate. Additionally, the group's core customer offer of compelling, discounted value in branded products should be highly relevant for consumers in tightening economic conditions''. PTSG Outlook - Interims 27sep2016 ''John Foley, Chairman of PTSG, said: "We have a distinctive, scaleable and efficient operating model which can deliver a broad range of niche specialist services on a national basis. We serve a fragmented, broad customer base and currently provide services to more than 100,000 buildings on behalf of over 12,500 customers. We have identified a pipeline of carefully selected acquisition targets which can in due course further expand our range of service offerings. We intend to continue along the path of producing organic growth on existing and acquired business through the expansion of our service offerings and by gaining market share due to the increased scale, range and efficiency of our activities. The Group is trading in line with recently upgraded market expectations and we continue to face the future with confidence." Outlook The "Brexit effect" does not appear to have had any adverse effect on the Group's ability to secure contract wins. The Group is trading in line with recently upgraded market expectations and we continue to face the future with confidence''. PTSG - I hold a few, above water, but not very comfortable with mkt reaction. TSTL - interested but as it got away from my earlier share price hopes (nearer 130p) I'm wondering whether to chase it or wait for a minor relapse. MYSL - I hold a few, above water, and am quite comfortable for now. JIM??? - never heard of it and thought you were pulling our legs - at first sight the share price seems to be on a slippery slope. pete | petersinthemarket
28/9/2016 19:09 | Good post on the PTSG board points out that Scott's worry about the length of time debtors are debtors is no different in previous years. Of the two MYSL and PTSG. I feel more sanguine about PTSG. I intend to keep them and take a profit on MYSL as and when. apad | apad
28/9/2016 18:50 | Likewise re TSTL, I did a lot of searching around for info on their products and patent protection before buying a load after their open day. Hospitals seem to like it a lot, have a read back on the thread from the date of the open day 2 months ago for a feel on where we are currently. I hope the entry into the US will be straightforward, it's not as if it's a drug that needs lots of testing. It was used under license by Chlorox if my memory serves me well. I'm hoping obviously for big interest in the US to protect against hospital acquired infections and subsequent litigation. On another company, a very steady dividend payer is JIM. Year end coming up in Oct and recent director buys and company buybacks. I see this as a picks and shovels company in that they are a execution only broker and which ever way the market goes they make money. They aim for 60% of profits paid as dividends and have a very good margin. Price is at a 3 yr low making for a very good yield and last year paid a special dividend. I see them as a possible t/o target for their client list but steady organic growth if not. | melton john
28/9/2016 07:52 | tj Rio has been and gone. If the quote is really that "headsets and walkie-talkies WILL be used at the Games in Rio", then should the bid have come by now? How old is the article? Hope they get paid. Just asking. red | redartbmud
28/9/2016 07:31 | Pete, I have posted a bit on TSTL, including buying extensively in the "stomach churning drop" - check back. apad | apad
28/9/2016 07:19 | A top technology supplier to the Olympic Games has drafted in City support after becoming the subject of takeover interest. Sepura, whose headsets and walkie-talkies will be used at the Games in Rio, has hired investment bank Lazard to manage takeover bids. Sepura and Lazard declined to comment. | tjbird
28/9/2016 03:01 | BOO looks steady APAD. I hope the run will continue. I considered top slicing before the RNS yesterday but think it was a good decision not to in the end. Haven't seen any comments from PP yet but will look when I have a chance. | lauders
27/9/2016 20:56 | If you need to find out more about them @wheeliedealer on Twitter is your man I'm adding more tomorrow too - it's turned the corner and lots of protection around its products | panic investor

27/9/2016 19:56 | Anyone here into Tristel TSTL? Despite the stomach churning share price drop some months back I like the confident progress on the current chart since then. prelims 17 October. It looks unstoppable. Not a holder - yet. Looking for safe dividends for my wife's isa. pete | petersinthemarket
27/9/2016 19:05 | Much more insightful analysis of PTSG in Paul Scott's column, particularly pointing out the high level of debtors. apad | apad
27/9/2016 17:37 | Thanks, madmix. I don't know how to divine this for myself. apad | apad
27/9/2016 15:12 | Re: PTSG. It's clear that there has been a large seller in the market for the past few months. PI buying has thus far been insufficient to clear the overhang, hence the lack of positive price movement. Unless an institution steps in to mop up the stock, some patience will be required. | madmix

27/9/2016 12:20 | Fwd PE of 11 on PTSG, dacian. Maybe the sector, maybe below the radar, maybe the small number of shares outside the three. I was impressed and the market wasn't. I looked between the lines and found nothing, maybe missing something. The only thing I can say about BOO, L, is that I was pleased with the PLT statement. Other than that - business as usual. apad | apad
27/9/2016 09:05 | No comment on BOO APAD? Looks OK to me. One to keep holding if all remains on track! | lauders
