17/10/2008 15:48 | Late fall. Looks like it is bust. | whiterussians
14/10/2008 13:02 | I'm surprised that SH has gone rather than HK - obviously cost cutting, but of the two, I thought SH was more knowledgeable in the field. | spaceparallax
24/9/2008 15:42 | Quite a bit of selling following the results, although as yet with no impact on share price - perhaps being hoovered up. | spaceparallax
24/9/2008 08:50 | There are positives in there, although the bottom line is that things are tough. It's pleasing that Cryonite and Valiguard appear to be making progress, but surprising that Silvandersson is struggling. Cash is becoming ever tighter! I feel that the share price more than accounts for the performance and so don't expect much drift from here. Also, I wonder whether PRT might be a likely contender for raising cash by selling him back a chunk of the Cryonite business? | spaceparallax
24/9/2008 07:13 | An improvement in the news, it is not as bad as it was 6 months ago. | muxdapanza
16/9/2008 11:32 | Just come across the recent bedbugs article, from 'The Week':- "britons returning from theirholidays last week may not have been alone says The Times: it seems that our trains, buses, planes and coaches are increasingly infested with bedbugs. In the last year Rentokil has seen a 40% rise in transport-related call-outs - and two-thirds of those concerned bedbugs. An increasingly mobile population may be to blame, along with cost-cutting by carriers. bedbugs thrive in small spaces, such as the creases in seats. A good vacuum cleaner should pick them up, but with budgets stretched and turnaround times increasingly short, cleaning may not be as thorough as it should be. "Recently, on an underground train in S London, I pulled apart the upholstery and found at least four months of dirt and debris," said david cain, MD of Bed-bugs.co.uk. Adult bedbugs are about a quarter of an inch long, and light tan in colour, although they turn reddish after feeding on blood. In most people, their bites cause an intensely itchy swelling, with a pale or white centre." All good publicity if only we can get the VTO name in the frame. Flippin' 'eck, I'm itching all over after typing that grim tale! | spaceparallax
09/9/2008 14:24 | Interesting to see a little activity today, in advance of interims! | spaceparallax
08/9/2008 14:28 | It can't be long until the interims - hopefully we'll get some positive news then. | spaceparallax
08/9/2008 12:21 | Judging by the number of picnicers pestered by wasps when I was on holiday recently, if Venteco made a miniature aerosol freezer or similar, I could have sold whole picnic areas a canister. Wait till the wasp settles. Blast it, while not affecting your food. If its only stunned, knock it onto the floor and let the kids stamp on the little b....rs. | yump
08/9/2008 10:55 | I keep seeing articles about bed-bugs and yet we hear no news about business progress for VTO. Whilst I'm not one for inceesant RNSs, VTO really do take the principle of 'reporting only when newsworthy' to the extreme. | spaceparallax
04/9/2008 15:23 | I must agree that he didn't appear to do anything proactively for PR. | spaceparallax
03/9/2008 15:55 | Thanks for nothing Barry. Back to your evening job I guess. | muxdapanza
12/8/2008 14:52 | Looks like my tree-shake theory was correct; share price goes back-up part of the way, yet no trades have been declared in many days. | spaceparallax
08/8/2008 11:49 | Mystified by the share price dip with no declared trading - I wouldn't be surprised if the MMs are trying to shake out more shares for PRT, but who knows? | spaceparallax
04/8/2008 15:27 | Hi Mux, No idea I'm afraid - as you know, VTO do tend towards minimalist reporting. That said, I would have hoped to get some feedback before too long bearing in mind the distinct switch in manufacture and marketing of the cryonite systems. Stefan is normally amenable to calls to his mobile - last time I chatted for a while and felt more reassured, despite the cost of the call! | spaceparallax
04/8/2008 15:23 | mkt cap £830k. do we know when they might update the market next? | muxdapanza
17/7/2008 20:03 | Mux, Don't forget, this guy was Mr CTS technologies - he surely should be well placed to know the outlook. | spaceparallax
17/7/2008 07:11 | well nobady else wants them, so he might as well have them :-( | muxdapanza
16/7/2008 20:51 | PRT accumulates more shares. | spaceparallax
02/7/2008 11:05 | Hmmmm! PRT strikes again - can't see where the shares have come from though as I've seen only snips traded recently. Surely, given that he's likely to be a well-informed chap, this must be a good sign? | spaceparallax
29/6/2008 21:05 | Unable to make the AGM tomorrow; would really appreciate feedback from other attendees. | spaceparallax
24/6/2008 10:14 | Haresh Kanabar is Chair - PRT is a non-exec I think. If I recall correctly, he was the owner of CTS or Silv before being bought out. | spaceparallax
24/6/2008 10:10 | He was a seller last year - if I remember correctly. If I am to make a profit here I will need to buy more at these low low prices. PRT is Chairman now? Or is he still a non exec? | muxdapanza
24/6/2008 10:00 | So it was PRT who topped up his holding - an encouraging move. | spaceparallax |
