Completion of investment in THEVIBE Ltd

Further to the Company's announcement on 4 October 2016, the Board of Vela (AIM: VELA), the investing company focused on early-stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, confirms that THEVIBE Ltd's (trading as Vibe Tickets) ("Vibe Tickets") Crowdcube funding round has successfully completed raising a total of GBP608,890. Vela invested GBP200,000 in Vibe Tickets as part of this funding round.

Following completion of the funding round Vela is the registered holder of 428,346 ordinary shares in Vibe Tickets and holds a 3.63 per cent. equity interest in the share capital of Vibe Tickets.
