I remember when they called £23 a conviction buy all those moons ago.it proved to be the top and did nothing but fall thereafter.i presumed at the time they wanted buyers to offload into.

no doubt they had it as a conviction sell at £2 when they wanted stock.

notice they've also chucked a buy on AAL.target 1400 ...bit late wouldn't you think!
clearly someones looking for buyers.
strange how they were trying to get sellers down at 400.

id be very wary on how they call it.

cumnor, Surely this is all about the price of basic commodities? For example cu currently undergoing consolidation phase.

edit, copper chart added.
...a typical retrace of the flagpole is up to 50%. Lots of assumptions here, but I see copper move above recent high within the next 10-12 sessions.

Fundementals here good but debt and charts will take it back to 500-600p over next couple of months before next leg up-and once turmoil in bond markets plays out without a repetition of 2008 (which s a possibility, esp with Europe being mighty fragile still) imo

if the analysts are saying buy, its probably safe bet you missed the boat.
