Poor old boy, just Google generic drug collusion and you will see plenty to make you weep! The Feds take this kind of investigation Very seriously and massive fines and jail face companies and their executives.If proven this will result in chaos for a lot of folk over the next few months and ruined Festive season.My old company used to require an annual sign off that you understood the corporate policy and had not colluded in any way.Pension and job were on the line and no legal support if you were caught.Time for similar penalties over her methinks!

I just meant from an industry perspective bad practice identified in one place can often turn out to be endemic (those poor practices in the finance sector that caused a global economic melt-down back in 08 are the obvious ones that spring to mind). In this case there are a number of companies implicated, so it wouldn't be an earth-shattering surprise to find out there are more. I just hope the disease doesn't spread to impact VEC's bottom line, or reputation.

One of the bonuses of not marketing your own drugs is you're unlikely to be accused of price collusion. Still I suppose there could always be an impact from associations with those who do market them. Don't think I saw any of Vectura's partners on the list though. But where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

Well, it could be worse. At least VEC haven't been named as one of the pharmas facing charges for price collusion in the generics drugs market. A few of them tanked big time yesterday. http://www.globallnews.com/archives/19172

Fhmktg... You must be joking. Bad enough that VEC bought SKP whose shareholders continue to sell out and bad enough that VEC have aspirations for own sales and mktg operation. But Vernalis cough mixture!! Remember the old adage.." Stick to the knitting". Well maybe VEC should have stuck with device development, kept cost to a minimum and let the royalties roll in.
