Yeah I agree the fundamentals and last update are also very solid reasons. It certainly started its move towards the upper range again

I think the chart looks promising though I'm always sceptical of the graphs. It's the fundamentals and the bullish tone of the last update that suggests strongly an upward breakout soon.

Thanks for the reply Richtea. I'm also thinking this will breakout soon. The chart seems to indicate the upside. Another sign that leads me to believe it will be the upside is the recent share purchase from Mr Derodra family trust; which I believe to be quite a significant amount (30,000 shares purchased, making the trust holding overall 333,146. Approx. extra 10%). Time will tell though eh... GLA

Hi everyone, I'm an investor of VEC and I read this thread quite often; although I never post. I decided to stop being lurker in the shadows. I've not seen anyone mention something that I've observed (and no doubt others have too) so I thought I'd post on here.

By looking at the chart it seems that over the past few weeks VEC is locked in a ranging pattern constantly testing the same areas of support and resistance. It's known that the longer this happens the bigger the breakout will be when it does occur.

The question is which side will it beak out. IMO, by the looks of the chart it seems a breakout is most likely due to the upside. Any chartists out there with any thoughts/ opinions on this...

I have been here for six years!! The failure of the COPD trial and the litigation outcome is of little consequence versus the upside of the royalty income from Novartis on the single, double and triple versions of nce237. This alone almost warrants the current share valuation. Buy at any price under 140.

Approx 55 trading days remain in Q4 with, cross your fingers, 11 product announcements scheduled as per VEC's plans. We know we can expect good results in a few weeks, current trading with the pound even lower should be buoyant and we can only hope that should there be a litigation outcome soon it's favourable to VEC and removes the black cloud it's created.

We've had positive news on trading otherwise a disappointing few weeks. The share price is more a reflection of future hopes rather than current trading so the very bad news on the COPD trial, the litigation and the lack of a marketing announcement from Novartis regarding Ultibro all contribute to its current weakness. We could do with some good news soon otherwise, I suspect, the share price will only mark time at best.

If the news on Ultibro in the US is positive, particularly if it becomes the 'gold standard' for copd in Europe, then watch the share price respond to finish the year in a positive light.

fhmktg-I'm hanging on to my shares, my only investment, so I do hope there is good news later this month. I am disappointed, however, that the marketing announcement didn't come in the third quarter as promised.

Novartis figures out October 25th. US launch of such important products must merit some sort of announcement on the day or before?Keep the faith!

AdamB1978-I don't think potential buyers who do such superficial research are going to buy or sell a significant number of shares and hence affect the price. What we need is some good news, Novartis are already overdue in announcing their marketing plans, hopefully positive news on these plans coming soon.

It would help VEC immensely if the forecasts for 2016 which are showing on places like TMF aren't 9 month figures due to the shortening of the accounting period. It means that people who start their research with mechanical search might rule them out due to an apparently high PE
