Trading update

The Group is pleased to report that its trading performance to the end of August 2016 has been strong and consequently the Board has raised its revenue expectations for the nine month period ended 31 December 2016.


Trading ahead, just need to judge when to buy some before interim results where cost savings should make some headlines.

I also think the skp merger is just the start of more to come if it isn't taken out itself.

fhmktg - I think there will be a significant downward movement if Utibron and Seebri are not launched in the USA as VEC say that they expect them to be launched this year. What I would like to hear is that there has been a mutually satisfactory resolution of the litigation.

Novartis announcement on US strategy for their products promised for Q3; if these are positive, that should provide a significant part of the kick upwards towards £2?

Decided to double up today. Held SKP for quite a while but VEC has a lot more diversification to support future growth.

Of course VR315 is the biggie to come but the upcoming newsflow for between now and the end of year is not priced in and therefore, on top of the expected and known excellent interims, can be interpreted as bonus good news. If there's more, like a positive litigation result or details of the next mass-market generic product etc then not entirely expected but very welcome all the same. Think of that as a double bonus.

Carpadium - what news is in there that hasn't been known about? I agree that if everything happens as forecast we should see a decent rise in share price but a bonus bit of good news to me is something unexpected like a satisfactory end to the litigation. I still think the most significant news is coming next May.

Carp, yes I thought we'd be back over 150 by now after the update, so hopefully push on next week. Good thing is we know great results are coming in Nov with potential bonus good news before that. So should move up significantly before too long but may get played around with a bit on the way.
