Well today it met resistance almost bang on the downtrend line, I think we will have to see 150 before we can be sure we are out of this current trend.

Sharp rises of that size are often followed by a 20-30% correction, only worry here is we were firmly in a downtrend and a reversal is not yet confirmed, next week is key.

for now no buyers imo despite all buys recommendations , loosing momentum - need more positive news flow
For me rally on Wednesday was just short covering and no fresh money buying

fhmktg -seem to recall reading somewhere that there is somebody else with a generic a month ahead of Vectura but with GSK's annual sales of 3.4 billion and the difficulties of replicating the breath actuator that there isn't the need to discount the generic version too much there is still huge potential to seize a good percentage of the market. Roll on May 10th....

That is the FDA target date for a decision on the Vec generic to compete with GSK's Seretide asthma drug which is now off patent. Vectura's version, using their own inhaler technology has had favourable user compliance in trials. This is a multi billion dollar market and Vectura will be first to the generic market, if approved.
