Last time I had this much excitement was in AFPO and 88e. Don't you just love aim. Such a great way of making a living. We are either have the ride of a lifetime or slitting our wrists. Doesn't get much more binary than that

updates here!!! wtf. This should now propel significantly. will be holding tight onto my golden tickets. Exercising of my warrants looks a distinct reality!!! Have we metamorphisised into a swan of aim or what!!

both mines were producing then stopped, maybe due to the EU law that we know about.

recently the licenses lapsed and were 'available' again - VAST had done their research and applied for the licenses and got them.

both assets are much much bigger than Baita Plai

here's the best bit - both assets are not as big as the four Remin assets that were/are under review

This is potentially a $30 billion mine - I believeRoy and Andrew Prelea have delivered.

This is potentially the largest copper mine in Europe it is (potentially)twice the size of Rosia Poieni:

We have 3 billion tonnes Cu ore - RP has 1.5 billion tonnes at lower grades than ours (half)

This is MASSIVE on any scale

I am one very long suffering but immensely happy VAST shareholder!

VAST v SOLG

Vast vs Solomon GoldToday 19:19Solomon Gold has a current market cap of 443m and shares have increased from around 3.5p in mid 2016 to 30p+ in 2017.

Financials
- Looking at the financials Solomon Gold made a 4.9m operating loss last year, only have 1m in property, plant & equipment. 45m in non-current assets, 52m cash.
- Vast has 18m revenue, 1.2m operating loss, 26m in property, plant & equipment, 31m non-current assets, 1m cash.

Resources
- Solomon do have much better grades than Vast, Alpala is a 1 billion tonne resource and Cascabel is a 10 billion resource. However the infrastructure is much poorer, the region has few roads and poor electricity.

In terms of resources Vast has 3 billion tonnes at Magura Neagra, probably up to 1billion tonnes at Piciorul Zimbrului, 2.9 million tonnes at Manaila, up to 26 million tonnes at Carlibaba, at least 1.8million tonnes at Baita Plai and 3 million tonnes of tailings at Faneata Tailings. The infrastructure for Carlibaba, Baita Plai and Manaila will all be fully operational within 18 months. The JORC and drilling results from Magura Neagra and Piciorul Zimbrului will drive the share price up massively way beyond 2p given that Vast will be cash flow positive.

I might be comparing apples to oranges but it seems to me that if Vast can generate substantial cash and get investment in the next year or two they could easily have a world class mining operation in Romania. That doesn't even include the other Remin mines they could acquire on the cheap!

Expands Romanian Mineral Footprint Through Acquisition of New Licences

Vast Resources plc, the AIM listed mining company with operations in Romania and Zimbabwe, is pleased to announce that it has been granted two new prospecting licences, which have demonstrated polymetallic mineralisation, in the vicinity of the Manaila Polymetallic Mine ("Manaila") in Romania.

Overview

Two prospecting licences granted to Vast in line with its strategy to increase the resources near Manaila and expand its Romanian mineralised footprint through the acquisition of brownfield mining operations and known discoveries
The Piciorul Zimbrului and Magura Neagra licences are both located in the Bistrita-Nasaud county of Romania, near the towns of Zagra Talisua and Zagra Telciu respectively
Previous exploration has demonstrated both licences' prospectivity for polymetallic mineralisation
Piciorul Zimbrului and Magura Neagra are proximal to the Manaila Polymetallic Mine (located 19km and 47km away respectively)
Intention to explore new licences with a view to developing deposits into future sources of ore as part of a proposed new Manaila Metallurgical Complex ("MMC") at Manaila or at the adjacent Carlibaba Manaila Extension, which is a possible site of a future open cast mine and new metallurgical processing facility
Current information sourced from documents in public domain. The granting of the prospecting licences will allow Vast to access the exploration data archived at the state exploration agency
Roy Pitchford, Chief Executive of Vast, commented:

"As our production profile at Manaila continues to improve, we are contemporaneously evaluating new potential sources of ore to use as future feedstock for the planned expanded metallurgical complex in the region. This is a strategy that has generated significant interest from potential investors and I am pleased to report that we are currently conducting discussions with large private equity funds and investors with a view to taking an interest in our Romanian subsidiary; thereby ensuring development initiatives are expedited without diluting shareholders of the parent company. As these discussions continue, updates will be released as appropriate.

"These new licences highlight our long-term commitment to developing a significant mineralised footprint in Romania and the Romanian authorities continued support of Vast in its expansion efforts. We remain in active dialogue regarding additional licences including the outstanding right to mine at the Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine."

Folks have not realised how undervalued this is. After the huge increase in revenue rns ($14m) , with over $5m cash, two revenue stream mines both making money. VAST should be about 0.5p today.Gla
