18/5/2016 15:33 | No interest in this one even though it goes ex dividend tomorrow. | bennywin
11/5/2016 09:00 | PURP more filthy revenue recognition from another Woody stock Look at this ‘Deferred Payment Date’ means the date where any of the following occurs whichever happens first: When the property sells and the legal process is complete or If you withdraw your instructions for us to market the property or If you choose not to use the Conveyancing Services – see further term below or Ten months from the date when you agree to use our services. hxxps://www.purplebr Clearly also allow people to defer payment and i think they recognise the revenue upfront cash lags sales bit of a worry | dlku
04/5/2016 12:27 | All getting a bit dull and frustrating. | bennywin
04/5/2016 11:58 | Pretty useful for getting to grips with the detail though. | hutch_pod
03/5/2016 07:26 | The usual warning is that Edison notes are pretty much just advertising add they are paid for by the company under study. | martinc
29/4/2016 13:02 | Read Edison's note on UTILITYWISE, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "In H116 Utilitywise (UTW) again posted strong growth and is on target to meet market expectations for FY16. We expect further growth in H2 and beyond and our valuation analysis indicates potential upside in the shares ..." | thomasthetank1
28/4/2016 19:31 | I can't see why thee would lend out stock . It wouldn't make sense. | bennywin
28/4/2016 13:35 | I think you're correct Oragano in that they have loaned the stock to shortest. | cockerhoop
28/4/2016 11:24 | A tad confusing to say the least ! | bennywin
28/4/2016 10:20 | Any ideas what that last holdings announcement means? the Direct investment stays the same voting rights lower. Have they loaned stock to shorters? | oregano
20/4/2016 07:35 | Never stays over 180p for long how irritating | az4hr
19/4/2016 20:58 | Cash is an issue. Margin? Operating margin of 19%, using operating margin before exceptionals. | hutch_pod
19/4/2016 18:47 | Yes same old story. No cash being generated. The company has very poor quality earnings and is a low margin business. Suspect they are aggressive sellers. No doubt Ofgem will at some point be reigning them back as well if the big 6 don't boot them out first. | topvest
19/4/2016 16:31 | For the record a sell went through at 194 and a buy at 197 today. | freddie ferret
19/4/2016 13:59 | wood has had some right duffers recently | rubberbullets
19/4/2016 13:54 | Well ... eventually/at last! This business is heavily supported by Woodford, which is a good sign; plus, in my opinion, it is one that will weather Brexit whatever the result. And it is not that dependent on the outside world economy either. So, a good small company to own, with a decent dividend and good dividend cover. | andrewbaker
19/4/2016 12:25 | Paul Scott's view at | zho
19/4/2016 12:19 | Read Panmure Gordon & Co's note on UTILITYWISE, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "CEO steps up to chair, large contingent release on t-mac, but better cash collection from one client. 89% increase in net accruals...." | thomasthetank1
19/4/2016 09:27 | In that context, ie jaundiced market perception, I'm hopeful the new CEO will be a good move. | hutch_pod
19/4/2016 09:12 | Fincap is forecasting net debt at the year end of £3m and cash generative thereafter. If they can achieve that, I think we are set fair. Given the profit multiple the market is expecting little in the way of growth. We are almost at the end of Q3 so hopefully they have reasonable visibility of that £3m. But like others here, i am rather jaundiced by the historically poor execution. | oregano
19/4/2016 08:56 | I bailed out this morning at a small loss. I must confess I had spare money last year and was struggling for investment ideas and I liked the fact Woodford invested heavily in this. So against my usual rules of having to understand fully the nature of a business, its revenue, cashflows, etc, I bought some thinking they may rebound from cheap levels. But I see they released 2 other RNS today possibly as a distraction to the results and I see there is ongoing debate by investors over the issues I mention above. So life is too short and I think UTW will drift sideways or down over the summer unless they come up with something bigger or more convincing. | winsome147
19/4/2016 08:53 | No problem, it's often more interesting to see what they've omitted. I can guarantee if they'd had a stunning February and March they would have included them. Similar thing happened at Tristel late last year when previously reported data was omitted from a trading update which allowed directors to benefit from options before lackluster results tanked the share price | cockerhoop
19/4/2016 08:14 | I can see it for 31st Jan 2016 - (29,288), but not for 31st March 2016. Last Year the Half Year Reports contained the figure for 31st Jan 2015 - 22,048 and also the figure for 31st March - 23,109 showing growth. Let me know if i've missed it. | cockerhoop |
