www.umc-energy.com (registered to the company, but not live yet) rubbish piece of info, but it's the best I can do. Having said that Waseco is up 10% again today, but that seems to happen everyday.

changing the subject to oil. I've got a feeling MXP out bid UMC for the property in Kazakhstan. It can't be just a coincidence that before the news Stephen Kappelle resigns. hhhmmmm....... If that is the case, hopefully next time he won't be there to mess things up. just guess work :)

yep, but on the plus side, if they find good uranium project in block 1, 2 or 3 UMC can own up to 75% and from what I've seen they look the most promising blocks. Look out for block 3! pick of the bunch. We'll see.

Scrooge, I think its worth pointing out that of these "five properties" only three are joint ventured with Waseco. The other two are 100% owned by Waseco. Even if Waseco find commercial quantities of uranium on one of the properties it might not be one of the JV three.

Just thought I'd point out these bits: "each of the five properties has geophysical features of significant interest for uranium, and other minerals". "Several anomalous uranium zones across all properties have been delineated, some of which are kilometres in strike length and open ended". Also, I should point out I'm only holding "free shares" in this one, so can afford to wait and see. I brought in the low 20's before the spike and left the profit in shares when it was in the mid 30's. Still high risk, but the up side could be huge.

Waseco Resources, UMCs JV parner, has nearly tripled in price over the last 2 months and are very close to commencing drilling for Uranium. From the last update, 24 November 2005. The Preliminary Summary Report, authored by Rob Hearst, M.Sc. P.Geoph. and a Qualified Person under N-I Policy 43-101, compiles and interprets the initial results of the magnetic, gravity and radiometric surveys completed in September of this year. The Summary identified that each of the five properties has geophysical features of significant interest for uranium, and other minerals. Several anomalous uranium zones across all properties have been delineated, some of which are kilometres in strike length and open ended. Additional follow-up geologic and geophysical work has been recommended, including the staking of additional claims. A detailed interpretation of the airborne survey results is currently being completed with the expectation of developing several targets that can be directly drilled from these results. More detailed and property specific information will be made available following receipt of the Final Report.

-URANIUM PROJECTS------------------------------------------------------------------------- UMC was formed in January 2005 for the purpose of exploring three potential uranium bearing blocks in the Central Labrador Trough of north-eastern Canada, consisting of 150 claims across 7,100 acres. The blocks are owned by Waseco Resources Inc., a Canadian company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. UMC has been granted an option to earn a 75% undivided interest in the blocks (subject to a royalty claim) by contributing, in aggregate, C$1,000,000 to their exploration. I hold, because the Uranium properties in canada look great. Anything else is a bonus. The last rns was disappointing, but UMC is not the first company to be out bid for a project. Lets hope they learn from that next time. Remember: Rob Schoonbrood, Executive Chairman, "We are of course disappointed that negotiations for this particular oil field have not had the expected result. We are currently looking at other attractive opportunities and have just commenced negotiations on an oil field of similar size and characteristics. We are confident that we can keep to our current targets and timing."

papillon. The Uranium JV with UMC is Wasecos main project. They do have a gold project aswell, but as far as I know that is on hold. check out this waseco forum: http://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/forum.asp?symbol=WRI&table=LIST You'll see that they are a little bit more optimistic about the Uranium properties than us in the uk.

The way the share price went today showed that bad news was expected. What a reversal in less than a week! Not a company to be trusted?
