The Timan-Pechora/Komi region is massive and is rich in gas and oil deposits.

See hxxp://www.blackbourn.co.uk/databases/hydrocarbon-province-maps/timan.pdf to get an idea!

Lukoil previously owned the production license for the Ordymsky area drilled one well which flowed and then did nothing until relinquishing in 2000 - the licence was acquired by RK-Oil and then passed to Urals in late 2015 when RK was acquired.

I have just re read the 19th November 2015 RNS and UEN acquisition of RK oil and BVM are indeed both in the Komi region.
How big is this region ?

Martyn, the trades are not volume though. And that is the only thing, other than MM games, that moves these shares dramatically.

It is the reason I doubted that we have any silent buyers of significance and we are just seeing renewed PI interest over the last month, waxing and waning, since the surprise RNS regarding Capital Reduction and dividend talk.

Without volume we are not going above the pre-statement price around 7p. And that volume will now only resume of the company adds fuel to the fire they lit. Clearly they were surprised at the reaction and needed to reign it in.

If you read 18/1 again the caution is quite clear too. They are not likely to move any quicker than they've ever done IMHO, which is a pain for long suffering LTHs and fresh blood who were hoping for quick returns.

I hope I'm wrong and the UEN board follow-up on their plans sooner rather than later.

Yeah right,eventually when volumes gave them no choice.When you pay for level 2 on ADVFN you can see the trades far more clearly.

Too much stock again. I tried a dummy sell for 250k when the price was 5.25 and was only offered 4.82p

They have issued it now, would be months before they were asked to again.. Its a bit of a single shot issue.

If it does 0.25-0.5p a day until 7p+ they aren't going to issue another rns.25% tomorrow, maybe...but slow and gradual they can't dismiss with another rns
