Also you are not correct about a rejected bid around 12p. The very first attempt by unnamed parties and at undisclosed price, fell away after UEN's offices were raided by police. Second attempt by Barsky was just to t/o the board, when this failed he sold his holding to Adler for around 12p.

You might be right but just don't see the mm's working so hard to supply pi's. if you notice when price dipped, still those opportune buys popped up some L reported.

Please answer this, have you ever seen a Co with relatively so little shares in issue come up with the idea of consolidation and for the reasons they gave. Normally co's that have issued shares upon shares into the 100 's of millions etc come up with share consolidation. It's already quite illiquid let alone after consolidation.

The numbers don't stack up though wanna brew. We have plenty (including myself) who have reported buying hundreds of thousands of shares leaving little room for a bigger player buying.

The only possibility is Adler's stake changing hands either partially or in full, but again no deals of size to suggest it is underway. They do still need to disclose percentage holding levels, even based in Cyprus via Russia!

What we do know is the company produces oil and the price is up and the exchange rate benefits UEN still so, it will be cash rich this summer again. That, and the intention to reduce capital and declare divvies is more than enough reason for plenty of market interest. And the peer sector value still suggests 20p here, which was why Adler bought below 10p and the BoD turned down 12.25p in 2013.

Almost four years on and everything looks as sweet as the crude we produce!

IMO games only over once buyer has acquired stake intended. Would not be surprised to see some form of corporate action in the near future. I maintain the RNS in early Jan has possibly accelerated interest by a third party. Just cannot see that pi's alone are driving this. A methodical picking off, accumulating amounts on a daily basis is whats happening.

Lol Basem1. That was exactly the point I've been making, they never say the see no reason for a fall, and we were hardly setting records either. Nor did it happen on other occasions when we did rise significantly.

Let's see if that 7p can be retaken this week before we assume the games are over and it is allowed to move freely...

Whoever and whatever was being allowed in here by the BoD hopefully has now been accommodated and we can resume Paul the Octopus' timetable. Just a slight delay on the runway. We're not flying Aeroflot I hope? :)
