17/11/2016 11:02 | In view of our acquisitions during 2016, we plan to commission a new Competent Person's Report during 2017. We propose to do so once our new development plans, as mentioned above, are completed. Andrew Shrager, Chairman, commented: "We are able to commit to these drilling operations across our portfolio due to our continued production efficiency and positive cash generation at current oil prices and FX rates. The one factor which may cause us to slow the rate of drilling is possible changes in the taxation of oil and gas companies operating in Russia for 2017, for which we have to wait for information until next month or early next year." | neilyb675

11/11/2016 10:36 | Guys, if you are looking for a good resource play, consider Anglo Pacific (APF). This is a mining royalty company and they pay a decent dividend. They got totally shafted in the decline in resource prices but they have recovered very strongly now that resource prices are on the come back (coal is their main business). It's a bit of a one trick pony, but they also own a stake in Berkeley Resources which is a long shot uranium mine in Spain, so you have a free lottery ticket with the shares. | rcturner2

10/11/2016 10:32 | At the Annual General Meeting Andrew Shrager, Urals Energy's Chairman, made the following statement: "We remain confident in our chosen strategy, as laid out in the report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015. Over the course of 2015 and 2016 we have developed a significant portfolio of additional proven and probable reserves and will continue to pursue new development plans and seek operational efficiencies wherever possible. We remain cautious in the current environment, and whilst oil prices and exchange rates may present medium-term challenges, we believe that we have gained a strengthened position for when conditions in the oil markets improve. We are confident that through our strategy we can build significant longer-term value for all of our stakeholders and look forward to updating the market as we progress our strategy." | neilyb675 |
