As at 30 June 2016, the Company had net debt of US$9.6 million (calculated as long-term and short-term debt less cash in bank and less loans issued). As at 31 December 2015, the Company had net debt of US$2.2 million.

gunner, the time to buy was when Shell was 1400/1500 as I posted on this thread at the time when I bought. The upside now is more limited, although a rising oil price and rising US interest rates will still give the share price legs.

Shell is a good example, I am up almost 50% and still holding for more. A good way to get exposure to the oil price, plus the fact that Shell pays a pretty hefty dividend, still 6.4% at the current share price.

I no longer buy shares in companies that do not pay a dividend. Obviously I will miss some good investments, but it is much safer and only companies generating cash can pay a dividend, so it is quality measure in itself.

Rc a bitter pill to swallow but yes lesson learnt the share price couldn't even rise up when we wee $100+ a barrel ops sorry I forgot that nano second moment when we went into the 9s !!! We have a freaking long long wait until that ever comes round again

That's a great word, interim - it can go infront of words like 'results' or 'chief' (as in CEO).

Hard to admit and even more hard to swallow but cal is ni on spot on wish i never got involved and wished i had got out when it went up to 9s last year for a nano second but lesson learnt BIG TIME i hope our RAMPING NEILY wakes up and smells the coffee rather than sticking his head deep into the sand and posting ramptastic comments . I hope we all including you neilly get our money back one day ??????????

Nobody is going to get their money back here - lets be realistic. We have a BOD with no ambition or ability to deliver any form of entrepreneurship and certainly not shareholder value. SOLG on the move again. Another big mining company come in with a bid for an interest at double the other company. It stands at 14p a share just now. We are all wondering if there will be offers from yet other companies. A price war seems very possible even between the two that have so far put their hat in the ring. Hope some of you guys did buy in when I told you about this @ 3 & 4p.
