Trying to work out if purchased actually means something else in the English dictionary..

A few variables but this one defines it nicely..

Acquire (something) by paying for it; buy:

On another note.. 9 million sell @ 1.15p taken well.. that could be the last of the overhang..

AP, I am presuming that "purchased" means "bought" in the English language. I could be mistaken of course. :)

This is being ramped by the usual twitterati group, who bought many months ago and tried to pump it but failed last time.

saffy,

I know it is only a tiddler and all the attendant risks involved but like you I am merely following the Directors. Have a holding just shy of yours so am willing to see how it all pans out. Interesting BOD too.....

Morning Kemche..

I'm holding around 1.5million here.. but am a patient bunny.. From my experience directors don't buy 18 million shares for fun.. and this one combined with others dirs hold around 40% of UPL...

We are due news on PEDL 299.. and perhaps more interestingly Malaysian opportunities..

Good Morning..

A first bit of blue @ UPL..

With the chairman picking up 18million shares and taking his stake to 29%.. he clearly believes in the strategy of building UPL..

Around 40% is held by directors here... and looks near bottom..

Just looking in here. Has the company got enough cash to do the drilling or is it looking for a farm-in? Or is that Ineos? Surely north sea oil is quite unattractive at the minute?

Good Morning...

With Norza Zakaria buying 18million shares and Dr Stephen Staley holding around 8-9% almost 40% total equity between them UPL looks like an attractive prospect..

They will look to build a portfollio of assets here.. and there should be news soon of pending Block SK46c...and the potential of restart the HARDSOFT field..

Award of PEDL should be anytime soon..

On another note.. Dr stanley.. mentioned further assets to be obtained..

With both Norza and Stanley holding a large amount of shares here this could be one to watch..

As predicted a week ago, when 88e was 3.8p and 'advice' was being given to buy it on here - trade what you see.

________

1 Apr'16 - 13:07 - 44 of 62    2   0   edit

Trouble is Tidy, if you trade 'what you see', rather than 'what you read', then your 88E chart looks top heavy and has broken away from it's uptrend channel, which means it could drop from where it is.

Here, the chart is at the start of a breakout on it's upward trend and closed period or not, the CEO has just shelled out another £180k to buy another 10% of the company.

Think I'll give your suggestion a miss, and I'm not saying further good news won't re-envigour 88E but until news lands, your chart looks too risky.
