Today's claim is for HK$1.9m. Last month's was for HK$11.5m. Both unpleasant, especially because we don't know how many more of these are going to crawl out of the woodwork, but the earlier one is a lot more threatening than today's in terms of size.

It is difficult for shareholders to work out whether to try and sell at 0.2p or wait for Chairman Koo's hoped-for refinancing package. Today's additional legal case to foreclose the company is a very big worry. Mind you we know that not many shares can be sold before the price drops if no buying occurs simultaneously. It depends I suppose whether one bought at 0.10p or very much higher - good luck.

This petition is from Synnex, the same creditor whose petition for a larger amount was dismissed according to RNS of 16 February. Did UVEL reach agreement to pay something and then fail to make an instalment?

Yet another court appearance about debt that doesn't appear that big. So the bigger question is why not do the right thing and pay up?
Leader Smart still dangles around the Chairman's neck and this sends spirals of coded messages of concerning sentiment yonder.
Thus back to square one in the boring game of obvious and self-imposed detrimental squandering.
One cannot keep throwing the die hoping for a Yahtzee.

The uncertainty surrounding Leader Smart Holdings Limited concerning its majority stake in the shopping Mall in Zhongshan, Guangzhou, and the interest in the Hotel in The Yellow Mountains shrouds the company's Chairman in the wrong form of wonderment.

Not really a happy situation for Univision still stuck in the Mangrove swamps of debt and court defensive costs seemingly ongoing.
If the company's Chairman became more outgoing on matters concerning Leader Smart Holdings Limited shareholders in Univision would see a more genuine clear path ahead for both companies. At the moment it does not look like the pea-souper is clearing any time soon.
A very great shame.

To be fair Mr Koo probably has his hands full at the moment, and saving UVEL is more urgent than sorting out LSH.

It is a great shame that there has not been an announcement from Leader Smart Holdings since 2016 - 7 years ago, shame on them. It could be that Hong Kong becoming part of China has introduced vagueries and hopefully, there is no shameful reason for this - basically, no one caring anymore at Leader Smart could affect Univision, hopefully, it will not.

OK to hold on to UVEL but dangerous to trade with MMs stil having a very wide spread indeed. 0.5p looks a fair price to pay but try getting anywhere near that when selling.

UVEL is going along well and is now at 0.35p. There has to be I think plenty of volatility ahead between 0.1p and 0.5p. Impossible in my mind to know where it ends up. The MMs appear to be watching a tad nervously.

Read further down the report - fine for the next twelve months - and a possible significant investment in the works.
It was already priced to fail..
