These things happen and without full details the likely effect cannot be quantified. However, more particularly, I don't like shares where the price changes ahead of the news. It implies that some shareholders do know more of the background as Tomps2 mentions above.

Maybe this share price drop is due to Billy Tank's extended leave of absence, for medical reasons, just announced. (He's Group Sales and Marketing Director).

Would be helpful if anyone knows any background.

The broker is holding their forecast 0.85p EPS this year and 0.96 next (+34% and +12% respectively). Stockopedia computers give UNG a very high ranking for both value and quality and the overall rating is only dragged down by the very low momentum rank. The picture seems to be of a good company with major institutional selling - but if the selling is based on company briefings then the broker appears not to have been told.

So I continue to hold. I'd buy more but I'm nervous about catching a falling knife.
