Has anybody any idea who today's big seller of 7m shares might be? The option holder who's exercised on 4.5m shares is most certainly Mcleod, former CO.

Very quiet share for weeks, then some large trades turn up this afternoon - not huge but larger than most pi's would put into a mini-stock like this ....
... unless they think they know rather more than we do!

Directors incentivised @ 10p, so that's a minimum I'm looking at 6 months down the track (Market permitting) spud

I see a much improved website since I visited last (early last year). Some interesting contract wins. Looks about time the company declared a dividend though.

I wonder if the tesco's situation ie ditching systems for cash has presented any opportunities??

Maybe a shortage of stock hence the share price moving North.

While the market elsewhere suffers its crisis of confidence there are some share sectors that are holding firm, of which UNG is a good example.
It is not alone but in the company of ECK and ACM (Mazarin note - we seem to have a very similar taste in shares!) in the cyber-security field, all of which have made recent good advances.

Most of the advancing stocks have a technology bias, whether communications, security, space tech or biotech.
Those I have particularly noted are VEC (mechanical drug delivery as well as formulations), OXB (gene vectors), SRT (AIS applications, marine tracking data delivery and presentation), GLIF (alternative finance platform investments).

I find this a healthy trend (more so as they are interesting companies apart from financial considerations) and basically good for the UK economy. However, I digress.
Suffice it to say that I expect UNG to consolidate its gain for a while before resuming its advance as the published figures are issued in expected support.

There they go (the recent news buyers) all selling for a loss...

All the more for those with a modicum of Market savvy and a little patience ;-)

dealit - I think you are right - The market will want to see hard figures before doubling the share price in a short time.
Of course, when I first started investing (in the days before computers and with two week market accounts), 3 months was considered a relatively short time. Now 'short time' appears to mean within a few days!

Accumulated losses = less tax to pay. Hence the tax refund.

fbb1000 - Re: Your dividend comments.

You are right that they cannot currently pay a dividend which conventionally has to come from the P&L account which is in deficit.
In order to pay a dividend they would need some years of good profit to put it into surplus.

There are ways of shortening the wait if the company clearly becomes capable of supporting a dividend from a combination of both strong profit and positive cash flow. This involves getting a shareholder vote and court sanction to write off accumulated losses against capital and therefore effectively reset the P&L account to zero and render forward profits as distributable.

In the current situation this would be rather unwise (imho) as the balance sheet is not strong, consisting in major part of goodwill and intangibles. Cash flow is also not strong overall as it is necessarily being reinvested, albeit quite successfully, to strengthen the trading position and prospects of the company.

This process may need to continue for some time, calling for patience by investors. However, we are in a promising turnaround situation and such companies can make rapid progress as the product is very scalable.

In due course therefore, ones hopes for a capital reorganisation in preparation for future dividends. I will leave it to others with crystal balls to suggest a possible time-scale

I am afraid that whilst your observations may be right you might want to consider selling now because if the signal triggers you will find it very difficult to sell any reasonab;e volume at a resonable price. Its the nature of small caps and market makers as they know you are struggling to get out.

Interesting monthly candlestick developing - currently got a large upper shadow - these large upper shadows usually indicate a reversal - if 6p is broken the candlestick becomes bearish. Note only confirmed at end of month. So everything crossed that bullish momentum can persist for the month.

Not matter what timeframe you're involved with its definitely not boring or lacking adrenaline. If you've sat on a stock for 5 to 10 years to see it become a 1000 bagger is surely as adrenaline fuelled as the scalper earning ticks - it would to be me if I ever achieved it LOL.

And yes I will be out - I live by the axiom "cutting my losses quickly".
