19/4/2011 16:44 | so where next for the share price? why the rise in the run up to the results? ... all rather baffling | philjh
19/4/2011 16:38 | Huge. Net assets are not miniscule compared with market cap. they are only surviving thru loans from NSN No sensible PNG oil explo company is going to swap any decent asset for bits of flaky paper | bonanza grades
19/4/2011 16:35 | Final results out half hour ago, after market close. What effect do people think the 'write down' has ? | philjh
19/4/2011 10:23 | yes tonnes of b.s. | bonanza grades
19/4/2011 10:09 | simple supply v demand beagle. Must be something behind the rise. | ducatiman
19/4/2011 10:05 | Up 36% on £1000 of trades. Shouldn't be on AIM imo. | the_beagle
19/4/2011 09:11 | Kicking myself for not buying more at 1.5p oh well who would have thought! | sideshowbull
19/4/2011 09:02 | still going up and still well bid. | ducatiman
17/4/2011 11:27 | tomboy, have been looking on the internet for possible candidates that are PNG incorporated. Not much success yet but there are plenty of companies involved there. The buying came very late friday, which was interesting in itself. Chris Kyriakou is chairman of NSN and UEP. Reynolds is also involved with both. They seem to operate from Sydney. It is certainly looking very interesting and I am trying to try to understand what is going on. UEP have no cash and the rns states a further 140m shares will be issued!? NSN have $50m cash for investment. So looks like there will be some sort of corporate activity between the two. But why is there buying interest in uep but not nsn currently, maybe that will change soon. UEP mkt cap now £5m but nsn value their 83.5% holding at nil. Wish there were a few more taking interest and who are better researchers than myself. A debate would be very welcome. I hold a very small parcel in uep but a more substantial holding in nsn due to their cash position. NSN results before end of month so perhaps we will learn a bit more from them. | ducatiman
17/4/2011 10:53 | Ducatiman missed this on Friday so it may be looking like the option may be excercised. May take a peep at NSN as well. | tomboyb
15/4/2011 15:31 | only 15k offered, very interesting indeed and don`t forget folks that nsn own 83.5% of these and have cash equivalent to 102p per share! It is not rocket science is it? | ducatiman
15/4/2011 15:27 | interesting rise at last orders! | ducatiman
11/4/2011 10:37 | Interesting candidates ducatiman. Also looks like MMs have shut shop for limits : 75k available at 2.37p. 100k at full quote 2.5p. | tomboyb
10/4/2011 12:05 | candidate? or Plenty going on anyway. | ducatiman
08/4/2011 13:42 | O/T Have a look at GGP then. | imperial3
08/4/2011 12:30 | Looks like my little punt at 1.5p will pay off, nice.. | sideshowbull
08/4/2011 09:15 | someone is keen, 363k at 2.75 just reported from an hour ago but still nothing in nsn, baffling. | ducatiman
08/4/2011 08:28 | Well this reminds me a bit of WBN and its coporate share structure. Ta ducatiman. Sell 2.1p buy 2.5p 100k max.gl. | tomboyb
08/4/2011 07:43 | no ideas yet. nsn have 5k only on offer. nsn results before end of month, perhaps they will elaborate on the deal. | ducatiman
08/4/2011 07:24 | Buying both - they're about as illquid as each other. Any idea to the potential acquisition? | tomboyb
08/4/2011 07:22 | Agree ducatiman - NSN trading at near half price imo. Why do people run out to the shops when there's a half price sale on but are too scared to buy a share when it's trading at half price. It's time to be patient with NSN. Last May they traded at 110p so not long before we see 100p imo especially with results this month. | liarspoker |
