Always said this was undervalued to think this company was 150 million not to long ago . On a personal level i would think this could stand 300 million outright with a bit of luck in the world cup next year .

sports world is a company owned by Mike ashley who is in the sunday times annual rich list and he has a huge cash mountain.

He doesnt usually take minority stakes in companies so if he is building a stake, then my guess is that he wants the company and probably has the clout to buy it as well.

Recently over the past few years he has bought several brands and enhanced them by relicensining them out over th world.

Definately worth a watch and maybe even a quick punt.

Lack of posts here,umbro i know its not a trendy brand name but a profitable company it is and sure to be a growth stock in the future,been some decent orders of late and the price is going up.

A price drop today following the early termination of the Chelsea FC contract. I'm a bit puzzled as to why Umbro have effectively agreed to lose money on the potential revenue from the deal even though they will get £24.5 million. As it is Chelsea that wants to end the deal early then surely Umbro should have held out for more money.
