15/1/2007 13:36 | Ultra was listed on the Money Programme today,first time I've seen that. | l.parker
11/1/2007 17:21 | Wow! talk about a bumpy ride, but it's worth holding on tight. Think I'll have to buy some more of these, what with the Saudis agreeing to their Hawks & the number contracts this Co attracts they have to be a sound investment, do you all agree? | l.parker
02/1/2007 23:39 | ULE was also tipped in Money Observer magazine Jan 2007 issue as one of their shares predicted to "soar in the new year". In their words "possible Footsie constituent within 5 years". I'm not in yet... but investigating further. | sludgesurfer
02/1/2007 15:27 | I.P - I think the chart and the share price performance speak for themselves! The only thing that would surprise me is, if ULE were to be taken out, I would exepct a little more of a premium than £13! Good luck for 2007 in any case (nice to have a bit of company here for a change!). ;-) | dr knowledge
02/1/2007 14:55 | One other point thats worth considering, Prudential have shares in this Co. to the value of £91,219,266. Having pensions in Pru,& drawing for over 13 years, gives me confidence that they are investing wisely. | l.parker
02/1/2007 14:29 | Dr,Dr, will pass on news if available. I have to be carefull, I don,t want to expose my source . I am not a ramper, but just stating info as provided, might be useless ,who knows!! Good luck & lets hope its a prosperous new year. | l.parker
02/1/2007 14:12 | L-3 have stated that they are looking to procure companies in the UK and Ultra has been tipped. Bae however has also been tipped to take over L-3? On the current share price, cant see it being that attractive to L-3 when the rest of the big American corps (Lockhead, GD) pushing further into the UK defence market and using this as a base for exports havnt tried. | dodge meister
02/1/2007 14:09 | ULE was picked by the FT no less as a stock to buy for 2007, the FT also mentioned that it would be a possible t/o candidate for the new year as well. One of my favourite stocks on AIM and amazingly as quite as a mouse on here! More than happy to hold! Ps. From a chart perspective she also looks fantastic, having had a period of consolidation, I think we are ready to move on! I.parker, if you get any more news from your source - post it please. ;-) | dr knowledge

02/1/2007 12:53 | My alerts this morning included something in The Telegraph about a US company in the 'defence' sector, eyeing up possible acquisition targets this side of the pond - but the link wouldn't open so i don't know who. ULE results I think are about 8 weeks away and were predicted (Dec 5) to be "broadly in line with market expectations" | m.t.glass
02/1/2007 12:07 | Has anyone got any knowledge as to why the sudden climb in these shares are happening. I've been told by another shareholder,a friend of mine who has contacts in the Greenford area, that they will rise to £13 in the next few days.,I know its all supposition, but someone out there must have information that the general public have'nt? | l.parker
02/11/2006 13:29 | Beautiful consolidation currently taking place in preparation for the next phase of share price growth! Once we get the strength, it's back up for ULE! ;-) | dr knowledge
03/10/2006 14:21 | - and testing that alltime high | m.t.glass
03/10/2006 14:01 | Up, and fast! No idea why as there does not appear to be any news and trade volumes do not seem particularly heavy. | philipsmedley
26/9/2006 14:25 | Any news or thoughts as to which way Ultra is likely to go. Its all just a little too quiet. | dodge meister
01/9/2006 11:43 | Anybody out there?. I hope these shares settle at these levels for a while & don't fall back,as they did a couple of weeks ago, I'm having nice ride so far. Just as a matter of interest I had a look at how many shares Prudential have in this CO ,Hold 8,103362 Value £83,462891, they must have confidence in Ultra. | l.parker
18/8/2006 13:40 | Patience,thats the name of the game. | l.parker
01/8/2006 15:02 | Ultra Elect. developer of a wing ice protection system for the Boeing 787 airliner due in 2008,& maker of equipment used by the US army. First half underlying profits rose 15% to £23.8 million. In todays Daily Express. Promising!! | l.parker
01/8/2006 07:58 | Broker Cazenove yesterday reiterated its outperform rating for Ultra Electronics!! | madger
31/7/2006 15:54 | Bumpy old ride, ain't it? Why do people sell at a loss,Nearly 100 mill contracts and yet they bail out! Patience should be the name of game, should'nt it? | l.parker
