06/9/2016 10:57 | Well spotted, scburbs. Things starting to hot up a bit, at last. | eeza
06/9/2016 10:40 | "U+I has been selected as the preferred party to develop Mayfield Quarter in Manchester. The giant project is due to include 1,300 homes, 807,000 sq ft of offices, a 350-bedroom hotel, a park along the River Medlock, as well as retail and leisure. The developer fought off competition from Carillion, Urban & Civic and a joint venture between Ask and Patrizia. A formal announcement is due at the end of next week." hxxp://www.egi.co.uk | scburbs
06/9/2016 09:02 | So basically they can hide debt. This rise has nothing of substance to sustain it,it will be another false dawn and sold into by the insti's that are trying to bail. | leedsu36
05/9/2016 17:18 | A large part of UAI is involved in development projects; these can deliver lumpy profits which can distort normal annual progression. Some profits expected to fall in 2016/17 may apparenetly slip into the following year. As loobrush states - take a look at the statement with the last set of numbers. | skyship
05/9/2016 17:05 | Look at lasr results this will give you a better picture. | loobrush
05/9/2016 16:44 | On Digital look this company has pre tax profit declining from £25m this year down to £15m next year. Is there any particular reason for this? Just come across this share in my research and haven't looked into details yet. ;-) | tradingsun1
04/9/2016 11:34 | Verulamium - thnx for that link | skyship
04/9/2016 09:54 | Some positive coverage - though not exactly ground breaking research... hxxp://presstelegrap | verulamium
03/9/2016 16:33 | speedsgh - yes, I do hope ST covers UAI in one of his IC Online columns. Not because of any possible price action; really just would genuinely like to read one of his detailed assessments. | skyship
02/9/2016 19:20 | Starting to move up well with a little jump today to 184- has been slowly moving up on small volume from the low of 152p. I think we may well see larger moves as more investors return to property and this share has a lot to make up being over 250p last year and the drop has been purely on sentiment as the comapny has been doing very well. Iam anticipating this to be well over 200p in the next few weeks with maybe a price nearer the 250p mark by October results. | loobrush
02/9/2016 16:28 | There is no reason that UAI shouldn't be nearer 250 than todays price and it looks like investors are beginning to realise this. | loobrush
02/9/2016 16:03 | Strong market today but even so, this could be downtrend decisively broken | mad foetus
02/9/2016 12:36 | yupa - thnx for that link. Usual Labour luddites will try to rally objections; but clearly a great opportunity for Swanley; and for UAI of course. | skyship
02/9/2016 12:16 | SKYSHIP - I see you've been plugging the UAI investment case with Simon Thompson ;o) | speedsgh
02/9/2016 11:51 | That looks very interesting,if they get permission there should be a great profit in it. | loobrush
31/8/2016 11:12 | Thx SKYSHIP - the graph is a useful reference. Get a sense across multiple blogs and articles that UAI is highly regarded, which we recognise of course as share holders, so sentiment may be about to change. Like you I take a long term view. | fizzypop
31/8/2016 10:59 | Whatever the apparent value here; and recognising that we've bounced 20%+ from recent lows so technically now in Bull Market mode; nevertheless strictly speaking the WD blog is right - we are still in a dominant downtrend. Need to break North of 180p to reverse that trend: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
30/8/2016 17:31 | This is last IC note 17 August Mixed-use property regeneration specialist U&I Group (UAI) - formerly Development Securities - has secured a contract to develop a £95m regeneration project for the Forest Works site in north-east London. The site, which covers three acres, has the potential to accommodate 300 new homes and 5,500 sq ft of commercial space, and is located within the new Blackhorse Road housing zone, where the local council has a target to deliver 2,500 new homes in the next 10 years. The site was acquired through an off-market deal with Parkdale Investments for whom U+I will act as development manager. The latest deal is part of the latter's strategic objective of building a portfolio of larger development projects IC VIEW: U+I continues to win new business, and management confidence has resulted in the payout of a string of special dividends, which currently yield over 8 per cent, making the shares a must have at 170p for income seekers. Buy. | loobrush
30/8/2016 17:15 | Thought this worth pasting from WD blog ... WheelieDealer @wheeliedeale According to IC UAI (formerly DSC) doing Special Divvy giving 8% yield. 1 year chart clear Downtrend Channel so wait for breakout. | fizzypop
26/8/2016 10:34 | speedsgh - many thnx for that link to The Irish Times article. Assets and profits coming from Eurolalaland. Nice currency gain there; or do they hedge perhaps... | skyship
26/8/2016 08:26 | Nice tick ups recently, let's hope we can move towards £2 in the next few weeks. | mad foetus
19/8/2016 08:22 | Final divi 3.5p dps payday today. | fizzypop |
