08/4/2015 16:52 | Results in June superg1. Don't expect any surprises, Tyratech isn't about 2014, it's about H2 '15 and more likely 2016. You either believe in the business or you don't. I do. I can't think of any other company that has gotten it's foot in so many doors in such a short space of time both across the USA and in the UK. These retailers all like what they have seen and believe it will sell otherwise they wouldn't stock the stuff in the first place. As ever, patience is key. Unfortunately there's not a lot of that around the AIM market hence the depressed share price. | michaelsadvfn
08/4/2015 16:37 | This company has always been a dog and always will be - best avoid | jxman
08/4/2015 15:09 | Interesting one this, is there a date for Y/E results | superg1
08/4/2015 09:23 | >> gem You are obviously an extreme cynic and conspiracy theorist. Your comment about enough cash for launches but not running costs beggars belief! I am certain that is not what the company meant and will try to ascertain that fact. I do not expect another fund raising other than maybe for the good reason of enhanced launches in Europe. However, I expect them to wait for revenue to build up from the UK and US before they overstretch themselves. And as for your concern about the other products, well as Alan Reade said when I spoke to him, it is all about Vamousse in the short to medium term. Nothing else really matters for now. So why don't you just stop worrying, chill out and buy into a success story. Somehow I doubt that will happen..... Nobby | nobbygnome
08/4/2015 08:59 | Nobby/Michael re 'it is amazing there is no interest here.' There interest form lurkers like me who don't take what the company say at face value. EG I spotted there was something up re the Terminix deal (Walmart and Home depot). Now it's clear to all that product is not on sale at either store. In other words it's fallen through. Tyr are keen to update the market on deals to put products on shelves, but stone wall any questions about that the terminix Walmart situation. The company, nomad or anyone else won't answer the questions, so a lack of trust in what they, release naturally embeds itself. Then you add on what is rumoured. EG rumoured claims by Eden (probably sour grapes)nthat TYR overstate things and it's not always as it seems. That was pre the Terminix 'issues'. Add on the pumping by the untrusted professional tipsters well known for their games historically. We know the UK launch cost a decent amount and it seems they struggled to get the products on shelves. So how are they going to get the product on all the shelves they have mentioned recently. It's going to cost quite a bit up front. Add in the team salaries and it's a small company with a high cash burn, regardless of R and D. plus launch costs. Note they said they have enough cash for launches. To the average investor that means they don't need cash/dilution. To the glass half empty views, it means they have enough cash for launches, but not the day-to-day running of the business. So on my side of the fence dilution has been on the way for some time. Therefore I'm waiting to see how much cash they need and what dilution effect that will have. Vamousse was late launching (UK), The Novartis product launches have been delayed, the Terminix Walmart/Homedepot side of Envance is dead. They said they would advertise Vamousse and they have done very little. That suggests the budget won't allow it. It was the wrong approach in the advert anyway in my opinion, non chemical and safe is a very key advantage but they don't mention it in the advert. ??? Another red flag (to me) is that they have been keen to announce further deals for Vamousse, but at no time recently have they taken the opportunity to mention how sales are going. So I'm waiting to see a detailed update and I expect that to include fund raising in the near future. I want to see what dilution that creates, and what they are going to spend it on. That combined with details of how product launches are going. So yes there is interest lurking. Some very good looking products and potential, but at this price how many £millions do they need. It could be quite a sizeable dilution coming up. | gemferret
08/4/2015 08:17 | Morning Nobby, Agreed, I think they're making excellent progress. They have just about conquered the U.S. & U.K. as far as getting stock onto shelves is concerned and I fully expect sales to follow. It seems the market wants to see figures but it's somewhat early for that. The potential here is enormous so I'm just picking up 50k here and there when the opportunity presents itself. | michaelsadvfn
08/4/2015 08:08 | >> Michael Vamousse will potentially be listed in about 50k stores in the US and Uk combined now. Even if each store only sold one can every couple of days the turnover would be impressive. As you say it is amazing there is no interest here. The company has done very well to get the listings in so many stores. This is the building block for expansion into Europe and the development of more products. It is difficult to see how they won't succeed now so the price still looks like a bargains to me! GLA Nobby | nobbygnome
08/4/2015 07:45 | There appears to be no interest here whatsoever ! Amazing. | michaelsadvfn

17/3/2015 21:30 | if the hair is short you could get more than one head out of it. if you dont apply enough to saturate the hair and scalp it will not kill the lice and they will carry on breeding. that means mum will think the product has not worked. i have yet to have a patient ask for vamousse. that either means my patients have not seen the ads or they are not convincing enough for people to go out and buy it. i personally have not seen an ad yet. anyway what i think or anyone else thinks it not the point when the actual sales figures are announced that will be the proof we need. remember the sales figures will include the stock on the retailers shelves and that would have to be taken into account. no doubt the big retailers would have negotiated a sale or return deal . | haroldthegreat
17/3/2015 16:11 | I bought another 50k this morning. There were a few 25k purchases after so did anyone here follow me in? And Harold I think you will find that a savvy mum will use one can on more than one child especially if they have short hair. It is a premium product so deserves a premium price. It is always better to sell 1 product at £10 rather than 2 at £5 ( or indeed £6)! GLA Nobby | nobbygnome
03/3/2015 16:17 | with regard to pricing i realised that there would be a problem with sales and their attitude that they would premium price the product was wrong. price it at a sensible level and if it works it would have took off. even if a mum tells another its a brilliant product when they go to purchase for their 4 member family and find its £60 they are going to ask if there is a cheaper alternative. the only purchasers will be paranoid mums whose kids have it for the first time and wrongly feel that it shows the family is dirty and unwashed.they will not discuss it with their friends nor a medical professional and just buy it off the shelf if they have seen the ad. anyone who thinks that in these cash constrained times that families will fork out£60 every time their kids are infected are living in cloud cuckoo land . | haroldthegreat
03/3/2015 16:03 | kids suffer from lice all the year round. one tends to see more sales pre term time but in reality itching doesnt start till about 8-10 weeks after infection . everyone blames somebody they have been in contact with in the last few days but if you look at the position of the nits , which are laid near the scalp, when the child starts scratching they are some way from the scalp. in other words the hair has grown quite a bit since infection. from the web: Itching Head lice often cause a person's scalp to itch. Itching isn't caused by lice biting the scalp, but by an allergy to the lice. However, not everyone is allergic to head lice, so you or your child may not notice a head lice infestation. Even if someone with head lice is allergic to them, itching can take up to three months to develop. In some cases, a rash may appear on the back of the neck. This is caused by a reaction to lice droppings. still had no requests for vamousse! | haroldthegreat
03/3/2015 08:12 | Why would a fund raising be on the way? From the 2nd December trading update... Cash and cash equivalents are expected to be in the region of $2.6 million at year end (2013: $0.9 million). The Company is confident that it has sufficient cash resources to fully fund its commercial plans for 2015 across all of its target territories, being the UK, North America and Europe. | michaelsadvfn
03/3/2015 07:58 | I really don't like news where they try to overstate the market. The 350 billion market comment looks like an attempt to be eye-catching. No, mention of how sales are going at all. Well, on the Lloyds front. In the days before the actual rns, I was in a shop and saw 1 bottle on a shelf, reduced in price. It was slotted in so not the last of a rush of sales. So that tends to indicate and agreed price reduction to try and get it moving. I think the whole problem is one bottle per child making it too expensive. They seem to have completely missed the 100% kill non chemical advantage. I suspect they simply don't have the cash to advertise. Don't hang your hats on vamousse, and watch for a fund raising which must be on the way. | gemferret
03/3/2015 07:36 | htg, You say you have not had one request for the product but when does the head lice season start? I thought back end of April/May... Anyway, more good news today. They appear to be cracking the American market in a big way. | michaelsadvfn
26/2/2015 22:55 | You are right, mousse can. Not surprising it struggles to work on a mop like that girls got ! | al h
26/2/2015 14:59 | its a mousse so i presume its in a can.in fact looking at their website you can see its a can.i havent opened the box to look. the shampoo would be in a bottle. so all of the above can be repeated for bottles of the shampoo. you can see how many items have to be produced to get something on the shelves of the retailers. thats without a single sale to a customer. in order to get it on the shelves of the big retailers i am sure they demand a sale or return deal. it will be interesting to see their sales figures. even more interesting to know the retail customer purchase figures. | haroldthegreat
25/2/2015 23:11 | when are they going to release details of cans sold in the uk? if they have 1300 distribution points and they purchase 12 cans each for stock that would give an instant sale of 15600 cans without one actually being purchased by a customer. in addition the wholesaler will take say 144 cans for stock at each branch . i have no idea of the number of those in the uk. say there are 200 branches in the country that gives another sale of 28800 cans making a grand total of 44400 ,as yet i have not had one request for the product. remember when they give a sales figure to deduct 45k cans from the figure for the stock held in the distribution chain. its always possible the individual shops points might only get 4 cans each and the balance being held centrally at the head office buying point. edgware boots only ever seem to have 2 cans on the shelf when i go in there. until some sales figures are produced one just does not know. perhaps posters can look at their pharmacy to see how many are in stock. they could also ask the staff if its any good and what other customers have said about it. | haroldthegreat
25/2/2015 09:52 | TyraTech Inc (TYR.L/TYRU.L;5.75p/ More good news for Vamousse Listings for Vamousse Treatment and Protective Shampoo We note the announcement this morning of new listings for TyraTech's Vamousse Head Lice Treatment and Protective Shampoo with Lloyds Pharmacy and its Treatment product with Day Lewis Pharmacy in the UK. These listings create a total of 1,300 new distribution points in the UK from March 2015. These listings are in addition the distribution agreements already secured over the past eight months with Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Rowlands and gives TyraTech a comprehensive distribution platform for its Vamousse product range in the UK. These additional listings support our revenue forecasts for 2015 and leave the Company well placed to deliver maiden profits and (depending on the pace of expansion plans) positive cash flow in 2016. * Allenby Capital | liquid millionaire |
