Well, this is the worst performer in my portfolio, though only a very small holding, thank goodness.

I wish you people would stop eulogising about the company's potential...

I don't think anyone is interested in your portfolio.

Just saying like.

"Let's have some real comments."

Possibly you might like to provide such input corrientes for this is an open and appreciative forum.

We are all well aware of the attaching negatives and of Tyratech's lack lustre historical performance.

However we must look to the future where the portents look exceptionally positive.imo

Our Chairman,Jose Barella, had this to say at the interim reporting stage.

"What has been accomplished by this small and dedicated group with the resources available to date is remarkable. I also believe TyraTech has developed a valuable technology portfolio over the years, some elements of which are not currently core to our current strategic direction. One of our tasks over the coming year will be to release this value to allow us to further exploit our positions of strength in the personal care sector and to progress the opportunities in animal health, which we see as the larger opportunity over the longer term.
With each passing year, TyraTech's technology becomes more relevant to the needs of the markets for safe and effective solutions to the control of insects and parasites... we remain very excited by the prospects for the Company; its products; and its world-leading technology."

I enjoy a large holding in TYRU and am convinced that holders will soon see very significant gains in the share price.

You are far from alone in having Tyratech on a watch list.
The trigger for investing,as always, will be when the share price starts to motor upwards.

I am now up to 4 million so over 1%!

Please tell us why the market cap is so low; in fact around one times turnover? I am certainly happy to have that debate, if you can come up with fundamental reasons for the current valuation. It appears they don't need to raise any money so even that spectre is not hanging over the share price.

I don't think anyone has said it is the most wonderful company in the world but undervalued it most undoubtedly is!

Just looking at the longer term chart, 3 years ago with not a can of Vamousse on the shelves TYRU was trading at 12p per share with itro 260m shares in issue, so a market cap of over £30m.

OutSmart? Guardian? PureScience? They weren't available either.

Something to ponder.

Snapped up another 100k. That was the max online quote I could get. The offer price immediately increased to 2.245 so there are not many shares available.

Another bit of liquidity, courtesy of a further 250k dump by our seller.
Shares at sub 2.25 pence have generally been sold on pretty quickly.
Maybe though previous TYRU buyers are now suffering from oversupply indigestion.

Long term holders probably know all this;yet I have only just ascertained the origin of the Tyratech name .

Biocides, pest repellants or attractants, or plant growth regulators containing heterocyclic compounds having rings with one or more oxygen or sulfur atoms as the only ring hetero atoms with two or more hetero atoms five-membered rings.

Tyramine receptors belong to the Class A GPCR family. In mammalian systems, tyramine is a member of the trace amines, but in insects octopamine and tyramine are thought to be the main neurotransmitters.

Dr.Essam Enan discovered, patented and assigned the technology to Tyratech.

Embodiments of the present invention provide compositions for controlling a target pest including a pest control product and at least one active agent, wherein: the active agent can be capable of interacting with a receptor in the target pest; the pest control product can have a first activity against the target pest when applied without the active agent and the compositions can have a second activity against the target pest; and the second activity can be greater than the first activity.

"Dr. Enan’s scientific research discoveries and breakthroughs have had significant impact on the industry. In 1996, Dr. Enan’s discovery of octopamine receptor as a target for some plant essential oils helped the business of a pesticide company producing natural insecticides in making and selling more effective products. In 2003, Dr. Enan’s screening platform was successfully created, established and used to identify and develop synergistic blends of plant essential oils with potent insecticidal activity. This groundbreaking work led directly to the creation of another pesticide company in April 2004, which went public on the London Stock Exchange (AIMS) in 2007.

Dr. Enan is passionate about providing environmentally safer and all natural products that will drastically improve the quality of life for animals, plants, and humans, and has spent his career perfecting his science and inventions to achieve this goal. "

Although Dr Enan's early patented formulations have now been abandoned,Tyratech have continually revised and renewed subsequent applications and these are patent protected through until at least 2020.

Ta for that mud, very interesting.

The exodus to Tyratech of Merial top level management has always been a big positive for me with this share and they have all bought into the story. That says enough.

See above Michael.
Those are just two of many reference points.
This is also an interesting read, imo.

As animal heath is so massively topical at present and as it is likely to remain so;one can envisage the Tyratech brands gaining further traction, maybe,as with Vamousse, becoming industry acknowledged.

Whilst we cannot yet be aware of the planned main thrust for Tyratech, Animal Health is assuredly at the top of its agenda.

Zoetis state that, broadly defined, the animal health industry includes all products and services, other than livestock feed and pet food, that promote livestock productivity and health and companion animal health.

Animal health is closely connected to human health. A wholesome and sustainable supply of protein from milk, eggs, and meat begins with healthy farm animals. Moreover, approximately 70 percent of the diseases known to affect humans are “zoonotic,” which means they can be transmitted between animals and humans. The rising prevalence of zoonotic and food-borne diseases and their transfer to human beings through consumption of animal products is also propelling the growth of the market.
" Furthermore, the growing trend of pet adoption is also augmenting the growth of the animal healthcare market. On the other hand, a number of restrictions posed by regulatory authorities have negatively impacted the sales of antibiotics within the animal healthcare market, thus inhibiting the market. In addition, soaring costs and rising regulations on animal testing have impeded a number of healthcare companies from manufacturing new drugs for animal welfare, thus restraining the growth of the market. A key challenge for the market is the decreasing population of veterinarians, while the emergence of new diseases provides untapped opportunities for the growth of the market for animal healthcare."(SourceTransparency Market research)

The animal medicines and vaccines sector is estimated to represent a global market of $30 billion according to Vetnosis, a research and consulting firm specializing in global animal health and veterinary medicine.

Animal health sits at the intersection of two large and growing industry sectors: pet care and livestock production. These three sectors are interrelated. As livestock production and the rate of pet ownership both continue to increase in response to rising demand and increased standard of living, animal health medicines and vaccines will also be needed in greater volumes.Though the investments pumped into the animal healthcare market pale when compared to those made in human healthcare, the former will thrive due to the growing awareness of the relationship between the two. Furthermore, the role of animal healthcare in food security solutions will also boost this market in the near future.

According to Mordor Intelligence, the United States veterinary healthcare market, estimated at USD 4837.89 million in 2016, is set to reach USD 6104.13 million by 2021, with a CAGR of 5.22% over the forecast period. Increasing focus on food safety and animal health will drive the market for medicinal feed additives to grow at a healthy CAGR of 6.38 %.

The veterinary healthcare market is gaining importance as a result of manufacturers focusing on the production of products with specialized formulations and manufacturing processes.

One of the key players in the market, according to Mordor, is Merial (the Animal Health division of Sanofi),from which Tyratech,as we know, is not a million miles away in terms of management, strategy and objectives.

Tyratech is imo undoubtedly in the right space at the right time with potentially the right (green and effective)product ranges.
Its micro cap size obviously has its disadvantages, yet if these could be in any way overcome, shareholders might reap exceedingly notable rewards.

BUY !!
