Board Changes
Tyman, a leading international supplier of engineered components to the door and window industry, is pleased to announce the following changes to the Board of Directors (the "Board").
Pamela Bingham joins the Board today and will be a member of each of the Board's Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees. In accordance with Group policy, Pamela will offer herself for election at Tyman's Annual General Meeting, scheduled to be held on 10 May 2018 (the "Company's AGM").
Pamela started her career as a solicitor, following which she moved into general management, gaining extensive experience in manufacturing businesses, focusing on development and implementation of strategies for business growth, through product development and M&A. Pamela is Managing Director of the Gears Division of Rotork plc, having previously worked with David Brown Group Ltd, CSE-Servelec Ltd, and English Welsh & Scottish Railway Ltd.
Dr Angelika Westerwelle, who joined the Board in 2012 will step down from the Board at the conclusion of the Company's AGM.
Martin Towers, Chairman of Tyman, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to welcome Pamela to Tyman. She brings a broad range of executive and strategic experience to the Board and joins Tyman as it continues the Group's strategy of growth through operational excellence and targeted acquisition.
