30/3/2005 07:35 | RNS Number:3049K TV Commerce Holdings PLC 30 March 2005 TV Commerce Holdings plc Mobile psychic readings now available with all major network providers AIM-quoted TV Commerce Holdings, the fast-growing media and entertainment company, is pleased to announce that its palm readings and psychic readings by mobile telephone are now available to mobile users with 02, Vodafone, Orange, 3 and T-Mobile. The introduction across all the major network providers follows successful studio trials when users paid #4.50 a time for the service. Revenues are shared with the mobile provider involved and Requestec, the digital messaging software group that helped develop the system, leaving TV Commerce with #1.70 per call net of all costs. TV Commerce chief executive Vince Stanzione said: "We look forward to seeing a further increase in our revenues now this service is available with all the major UK network providers. Our content is well-suited to mobile telephony, and the facility will also work well with live interactive shows." Users take a photo of their palm and then send the photo-message to 07704 632 634. It is read by one of TV Commerce's expert readers and a reading sent back to the user via text messaging. The service is live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The photo-messaging service can also be used to enhance psychic text readings or to send in old photos for clairvoyants to use. During a recent trial on Your Destiny TV with leading clairvoyant Joe Power, viewers used the service in encouraging numbers, resulting in extra revenue for the show. Requestec's Head of Business Development, Marek Zwiefka-Sibley, said: " Requestec is pleased to offer a fast, cost-effective solution to Your Destiny TV and we look forward to working with TV Commerce on future mobile-to-TV and TV-to-mobile applications". TV Commerce is also testing photo-messaging technology for a new dating show, Date with Destiny, where users seeking new relationships can send in photos and messages direct to live studio hosts. | currypasty

17/3/2005 19:11 | Curry That's my understanding too. I have no problem with a takeover (at a much higher price),. although I would prefer it was after 2 years (so only 10% CGT) or better still after 3 years...0% CGT and I get to keep the 20% income tax rebate. | timbo003
17/3/2005 16:53 | I thought EIS is cancelled on a takeover, although not 100%. If that was the case, It is possible to roll it into another eis. It could be that a takeover would be at a significantly (multiple) higher price, or whats the point ? | currypasty
10/3/2005 21:47 | Did'nt know Robbiethetrader was in these as well seems he got in on the offer | bigspuds
10/3/2005 18:12 | I spoke to Vince Stanzione (CEO) earlier today, I rang him to ask about progress with EIS approval, he seemed to think it was a done deal, so that's good. However, during our discussion, he seemed surprised when I reminded him that in order to qualify for the EIS tax benefits you need to hold for 3 years, and he then posed the question: "What would happen to EIS status if someone buys us within three years?" That's a good question, and I for one would certainly like to know the answer. I got the distinct impression that his desired time frame for this current project (TV Commerce) was short and he sees a takover as his preferred exit stategy before moving on to his next project, whatever that might be. His brief CV detailed in the offer document suggests to me that he is a (successful) serial entrepeneur, for example one of his previous achievements was to co-found Midas communications, a carphone company, which became London Car telephones that was later acquired by Vodaphone. | timbo003

23/2/2005 11:34 | I think the guy is being a bit hasty dismissing tvc after 2 days trading. Google at $200 is a bit daft too, that hasen't stopped it though.I.ve had dealings with the MD (Vince S.) and I can assure you that 'daft' he isn't. It cheers me up that there is little intrest on these boards for tvc, that in itself is bullish,5 million market cap is a good low base to start from, this company could do well (imho) | andixx
23/2/2005 10:40 | a tick up... bit of a slow start, but im hoping this will do well from a long term (3 years) view ! | currypasty
