Turbotec Products has won a High Court battle over administration fees with its majority shareholder Thermodynetics.

Turbotec has also been awarded substantial costs, including payment on account of £350,000 by TDYT within the next two weeks.

The court ruled that the annual administration fee had been calculated solely by reference to TDYT's cash needs and bore no relation to the services that it had claimed to provide.

Judge Dight said it was clear to him that the provisions of the relationship agreement for the payment of the administration fee were not a genuine transaction but a disguised return of capital.

With this court room dram out of the way, and TRBO £350,000 richer, the share price will now get back to where it belongs.

Turbotec Products Inc., a supplier of heat exchangers and heat transfer products, will expand its presence in Catawba County.

The company is moving the bulk of its manufacturing operations from Connecticut to Hickory, adding 73 jobs and investing $6.5 million during the next three years, state officials announced today. The project was made possible in part by a $76,500 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.

Great opportunity here to grab a bargain IMO, DYOR etc...

no decision yet on that litigation, but certainly one to keep an eye on as fundamentally cheap

A little light at the end of the tunnel - the update on the 16th gives some hope
for the future. If I read the statement correctly, the pre-tax earnings may be of the
order of £0.8M for 2009.

Major news is, I guess, the end of the litigation with the court's decision to be
announced in March.

As always DYOR

OOps .... missed the $ sign in front of some figures in my earlier post.
That would be pretax annualised profit of $1.8m at present rates.
Still a bargain at 26.5p and half year earnings of 4p, IMHO.

When I first saw the drop in SP, I thought the company has bade a loss. Hmmm ...
The Board had expected pretax profit annualised above £1.8M?
The Market Cap is only about £3M now? With NAV of 50p+ per share?

That article just reiterates what I think, that this is a company to watch. The share price appears to be depressed at the moment by a consistent small batch seller. Once he is finished, then the price should recover.

These shares will not drop below 25p, and it appears there is a great opportunity to top up here.

Resistance of 30p will shortly be broken.

New products coming to market - eco friendly heat exchangers that are far more efficient than previous attempts, ready to get taken up with the increase in buyers.

It appears as though the sector this company operates in is not as exciting as other sectors, so PI's are not giving this one a chance.

It's one to watch. IMO DYOR

and finally today the ask moves up to 25p on zero volume? Looking good?

They seem to have their house in order now. Profits are stable, considering the economy.

They have finished the extension to their factory, and are now picking up new customers, and are set to capitalise on the growth in eco friendly air conditioning, and heating systems.

Their specialist tubing is now manufactured from a range of materials, so are not hindered as much by supply problems that could affect others.

On the whole, a solid company with good prospects. DYOR.

I would like to repeat the advice I gave in post No.9 dated 28th August 2007, when the share price was circa 90p,"If you are out, stay out. If you are in, get out ASAP"!

spoke to some investors who simply struggled to sell anything at a loss and held onto losers in the hope that "They will go back up sometime.."

One chap had bought RBOS at 400p, 300p, and 200p and now said it was a "Long-term investment".

As we older traders know.. long-term investments are short-term investments gone wrong!

If he's had say a 10% stop loss he'd have been out of the first trade at 360p.

My personal view is that stop losses for investors in this market are very important - otherwise capital disappears.

A lot of brokers are now offering "trailing stop losses". I think these are a good idea because they rise behind the share price and so also lock in profits.

There is absolutely no chance of that happening, I can assure you!
