16/2/2016 21:46 | Turbo Power Systems @turbopowersys #UKRIA2016 We have won the coveted UKRIA 2016 awards under traction and rolling stock …tegory.www.ra Will this be the catalyst lmdp? Anyway, had my eye on TPS for a while, they keep picking up these awards, they've turned a loss into profit and are now debt free! Good, solid company with only 10% of shares in public hands, blue chip clients, repeat orders, etc, etc...... yet the shareprice is sitting at multi year lows, why? Shirley shum mishtake miss moneypenny. So time to dip my toe in, only good news coming from here and just a matter of time until the share price catches up. | happy bear
04/2/2016 08:39 | Been quiet here for a while but are things about to kick off again? Looking at the chart you can see that around now, for the past 3 years, it's had a huge spike up after a lull, regular as clockwork. Other indicators such as 50/100/200 sma's are also aligning. So might be worth a punt at these lows. Downside is limited but upside is huge. Risk/reward and all that. Aimho, dyor, etc.... free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | le mass du pap

03/8/2015 13:05 | Nice results again, up 17% but not on risers list and so far no trades. Odd? Surely it's about time TPS started moving up and staying there. The recovery in the company's fortunes is well underway and there's also the result of the strategic review to come with Bombadier and Siemens(rail) looking to merge, according to some sources, and Hitachi(rail) just a few miles down the road. Not to mention the award they picked up. Insane that it's still at these lows, the level it was at without any of the above! Aimho. | le mass du pap

09/5/2015 14:06 | AGM 4th of June as well! Turbo Power Systems Inc (“TPS” or the “Company” “Best Electricity Network Improvement” accolade for TPS at annual Innovation Awards TPS have won this year’s award for “Best Electricity Network Improvement” at the annual Energy Innovation Awards, organised by the Energy Innovation Centre. Held on the 30th April at Manchester Hilton Deansgate, these prestigious awards recognise pioneers of new technologies that can make significant contribution toward the UK achieving its goals for energy security and greenhouse gas reduction. Broadcaster and entertainer Gyles Brandreth was the host for this years’ sell out ceremony at which winners in 14 award categories were announced to an audience of 400 guests. Turbo Power Systems were shortlisted in two 2 categories, “Best Electricity Network Improvement” and “Best Innovation Contributing to Quality and Reliability of Electricity Supply”. An independent panel of experts from the utilities and energy sectors, comprising Distribution Network Operators, financiers, consultants, policy makers and trade bodies awarded the Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution sponsored accolade of “Best Electricity Network Improvement” to TPS for 2015. This award recognises the potential contribution that TPS’ innovative power balancing converters, developed in collaboration with its partners UK Power Networks and Imperial College, can have towards achieving the improvements in the electricity transmission system needed to make a secure and low carbon energy economy of the future a reality. A number of key note speakers addressed the guests to recognise the endeavours of the industry and to further re-iterate the strategic significance of ongoing innovation in the energy sector. Opening the award ceremony, Graham Edwards, chief executive of Wales & West Utilities, said: “The increased ambition of tonight’s event has been driven — first and foremost — by the exceptionally high number of quality entries that were received from the innovator community and also by the energy industry’s growing desire for collaborative projects that leverage the talents, agility and innovative nature of small businesses.” David Gray, chairman of energy industry regulator, Ofgem, said: “The UK energy industry is changing fast and innovation has a crucial role to play in how it develops.” “Wholehearted congratulations must go to all the projects, technologies and businesses that are being recognised by the UK Energy Innovation Awards tonight. They demonstrate how innovation is extending beyond the networks into the supply chain.” Closing the awards, Denise Massey, managing director of the Energy Innovation Centre, said: “The EIC remains committed to driving this open approach to innovation further forward into the future. We are already planning collaborative summits for this year that will set out a transformational vision for each of three key strategic areas – customer, street works and transmission.” Sponsors of the UK Energy Innovation Awards 2015 were Amey, Northern Gas Networks, the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, the Power Networks Distribution Centre, SSE Power Distribution, Thornton Science Park, University of Chester and UKTI. The event was also supported by: Electricity North West, National Grid, Northern Powergrid, share price Energy Networks, SGN, UK Power Networks, Wales & West Utilities and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
