12/9/2016 13:39 | You need a letter from either your broker or the registrar confirming your holding. That said, they'll let you in without it though you'll be asked not to ask any questions (during the session Q&A) and you won't be able to vote. The questions thing is no biggie since management mingle afterwards anyway -so there's your chance if you have any. | manics

09/9/2016 15:08 | bank assets are 25m and is sold for 30m. I hope sale goes through and Tung gets extra 5m. it looks like we might get the good news anytime. | bs76
09/9/2016 14:22 | Why the doom and gloom? 1. The new bank is supposed to be targeting engineering companies in the UK, not the EU. I don't think it needs passporting. 2. In Liberty House's website (the page with Sanjeev Gupta's CV) it says (third paragraph from bottom): "In a bid to further support industry, in late 2015 he also acquired London-based Tungsten Bank and is relaunching it under the name of Wyelands Bank as a specialist provider of financial solutions to commodities, steel and engineering enterprises." 3. In a 12 July article, almost 3 weeks after the referendum, Gupta reiterated his plans for the bank: “There’s a churn going on in the commodity world as well. There are clear opportunities within that to have a challenger bank," he said. | pkarnezis
09/9/2016 13:35 | don't apologise! I guess the good will in the bank was minimal anyway? surely the license is worth something. trying to get a new one has to be a cost of a few million at least in lawyers fees. | edwardt
09/9/2016 13:32 | On the bank: I apologise for being depressing, but the bank may not be worth what it was on a hard brexit. So I go for sale fell through and they just wind up the bank and realise the assets. They did say there was a plan for that 25/7/16. | andrewdbl
08/9/2016 17:46 | i will be happy if tung gets 10% of that! | edwardt
08/9/2016 14:49 | "The total amount of lending UK businesses secured through invoice finance has passed the £20 billion barrier for the first time, hitting a record £20.3 billion this year, up 5 per cent from £19.3 billion last year". | manics

06/9/2016 08:58 | what's everyone's guess on news on the bank sale? I will say 3rd October to kick it off! | edwardt
05/9/2016 12:37 | Ticking up though "they don't want you trading 'em Mr. Mainwaring" -not with that spread. | manics
01/9/2016 14:13 | That's me in for some more at 65p. I like the recent share price trend (and today's brief pop in the offer price) and with potential for continued operational improvement plus the possibility of some corporate action (noting ET's apparently increased position with the July holdings notice) I think the chances of significant upside are reasonable. Just hoping they can get the bank sale away by the end of October. | 1gw
30/8/2016 09:34 | I am not convinced that TA can be applied to smallcaps reliably. From a fundamentalist point of view, the AGM is due 16 Sep and as that is nearly half way through the FY I would hope they could provide pointers on progress towards when they will breakeven. Any news that reduces uncertainty will be viewed favourably (even slightly bad news). | andrewdbl
27/8/2016 09:32 | Yep a very bullish reaction. Looked like the flush before we test the 76-82p level and then onwards to intermediate target of 130-138p at some point. I would speculate a move towards higher bond market yields starting on Friday in reaction to Janet Yellen can only be good news for invoice financing. Obviously very early days | lfilby
26/8/2016 17:06 | very strong close at 65 after pushed down to 59 :) | bs76
24/8/2016 12:20 | hxxps://techcrunch.c "The latest funding round values the company at around $600 million, according to a source close to the situation." "Tradeshift now has a total user base of over 800,000 while it saw 250 percent growth in transacted value year-over-year in 2015. Lanng could not disclose the exact figure but said the company is approaching $5 billion worth of transactions this month alone. " "It didn’t provide a raw figure but it did tell the Journal that it is on course for $50 million in annual (company) revenue this year." "In terms of business metrics, Tradeshift said it now serves more than 800,000 users — that means the total number of employees from its customer base, not actual companies — and it claims to have “dozens” of Fortune 500 clients. " Valuation $600m => £450m Revenue $50m => £38m Supplier 800,0000 Buyers => not sure. Transaction value through network = $5b per month => $60b => £45b per year How they make £38m revenue? it's free for supplier's I suppose it's all good in private world. They shouldn't try IPO. :) | bs76

18/8/2016 15:43 | "stocky15 Aug'16 - 19:22 - 6461 of 6462 0 0 I bought into Proactis as they are cashflow positive, the two companies have roughly the same revenue and yet Tungsten is valued at double that of Proactis. However, Tungsten may have more potential." just checked out Proactis. Proactis => SP: 138.50 , Market Cap: £55.17m, Revenue: FY16- £19.4m(expecte Tungsten => SP: 64.25 , Market Cap: £81.00m, Revenue: FY16- £26.1m, FY15- £22.5m Tungsten will get £30m cash after selling bank but I agree the advantage of proactis - it's cashflow positive | bs76
15/8/2016 19:22 | I bought into Proactis as they are cashflow positive, the two companies have roughly the same revenue and yet Tungsten is valued at double that of Proactis. However, Tungsten may have more potential. | stocky
15/8/2016 19:19 | Thanks Manic. | stocky
15/8/2016 14:22 | Tungsten -because they've already completed (much of) the hard work of building a network of huge buyers (vast majority of the FTSE & Fortune 500) and their suppliers. Proactis has a nice little niche, though it won't scale as you'll witness at Tungsten imo, because their client base is so much smaller -both in terms of breadth and size of typical account. Also (staying with breadth) imo you'll see more innovation from Tungsten in terms of the services and solutions offered to 'the network' which Proactis can't match. In summary Tungsten is far broader imo. | manics
15/8/2016 14:11 | Please could anyone explain which is a better investment - Proactis or Tungsten? | stocky |
