Mariopeter, nice to see all the negatives you wrote about in November have not dissuaded you from buying Tullow. I sold up myself last Friday (2nd December) @ £3.1510. I didn't really want to sell but needs must. I did well out of it and wish you the best of luck.

Can hedge for an average of $56 a barrell for whole of 2017. ANy idea what kind of profits Tullow will make based on this price? Surely any sensible CEO would have hedged for the whole of 2017 by now!

Markets waking upto the fact that oil will stay high. Opec will manage the price for the forseable future-$55-$60 brent. If it drops they cut-if it rises more they will pump-simple. Levels high enough for uk oilers to make a profit and invest in new fields.
