again i have my doubt that indian oil would pay 2.7bil for 10% as the cost of putting on line kenia is high and need to take in account when the asset is valued.
in any case any asset partially sold will add value to the share price.
tlw without kenia assett and without debith will be worth today at least 3 times more today but if we ride the storm and keep all or parts of kenia tlw will be worth considerably more within 3 4 years
i suspect this are the decision that the top brass need making assuming that there is a buyer for kenya assets
for me i will keep adding to tlw and the other 4 oil company i am following as ultimatelly the world need the back stuff and every 7 years we go trough this.
Bottom line there is not sufficient oil that can be produced under the s45 to sustain the demand if we exclude edge and other financeila tricks that will diminish
as long as we spred the risks among few good compamy in different geograficaland various amaunt of debit we can bank on profit in the long run
i hope so my pension depend on it
good luck

Tullows assets are huge and Kenya alone is worth at these current oil prices $27billion according to the talks with the Indian oil company wanting a 10% stake for $2.7billion.
That 2.7 billion could almost pay our complete debt off in one go..

I have my doubt will be a bid for this but I can see some asset selling that for me would be the best case.
Most of the shareholder would not accept a100% premium and I doubt any one will pay more.

Similar here
But at least I have few going well Opay and Ncc make my portafolio more respectable
Still I got Little more Tlw today and I will get Genel next week as fondamently nothing changed in the last few months
Clearly I would prefer Tlw changing little the strategy and sell some asset and raise more cash to become a predator or a pray

The answer to you question is simple. Assuming that their is nothing intrinsically wrong with TLW, nothing will change until demand significantly outweighs supply. To that end 2017 could be the beginning. That said , before that happens we could see a further drop in the share price as supply continues to outweigh demand.
