21/8/2015 15:44 | Quite a quiet board this one. Any views on the interims? For me, I was a little disappointed with progress tbh. There was a good performance from the industrial sensors business but warnings that it will be first half weighted was disappointing. All the other businesses seem to be going backwards, although perhaps IMS will pick up going forward. Perhaps I was expecting a bit much, but I am not sure the progress being made entirely warrants the increase in share price we have seen. | nehpets81
18/6/2015 17:29 | TT Electronics plc (LON:TTG)‘s stock had its “add” rating restated by equities researchers at Numis Securities Ltd in a research report issued on Thursday. They currently have a GBX 170 ($2.65) price objective on the stock. Numis Securities Ltd’s price target would indicate a potential upside of 17.65% from the company’s current price. | bugle4
16/6/2015 09:57 | At the risk of putting a hex on th share price it seems to be holding up well despite the wider market and grexit concernes. | bugle4
10/6/2015 06:57 | You need to look at the last 5 days for both this stock and the rest of the market rather than shooting from the hip. | gbb483
09/6/2015 16:37 | Up a tad on 50% increase in average daily volume, when the rest of the wider market down. Start of next leg up maybe???? | bugle4

12/5/2015 13:05 | Previous management have failed to improve what is a paltry operating margin of between 5.5% and 6% which is very low for the electronics industry. The current management have focussed on a better marketing strategy and tighter financial control. Todays trading update did not say a lot but holds the promise that things are about to change. | rogerrail
12/5/2015 11:53 | 1038 GMT [Dow Jones]--A brief update from TT Electronics, a supplier of industrial sensors and controls, hardly gets the pulse racing. "Trading was in line with our expectations...opera | cockneyrebel
12/5/2015 10:41 | Stadium did indeed require the patience of Job. I bought it in 2000/2001 and every time it looked like trending up, it got hit by a sharp decline. I kept holding because there was a reasonable dividend despite my capital being underwater most of the time. I think I have learned that the key is to look for management trying to implement a new/modified strategic direction that appears plausible. That strategic fillip has only just appeared with Stadium: an acquisition enabling them to field offerings, based on their traditional core competencies, in the burgeoning M2M market. Companies that haven't even got off the ground but have a product/service that catches the eye invariably disappoint eventually. As for TTG, they do have a plan to rationalise the company and a strategic aim to deepen their presence in higher valued-added areas like sensors. So, it did seem that the odds favoured buying the deep fall with a view to accumulating a position, rather than trading any bounce. I suppose the shorters do provide a useful service for such an investing strategy. | bakunin
12/5/2015 10:14 | Yes -admit it was a bit of a punt. Was looking for something with plenty of upside potential. You always worry about catching a falling knife -have had a few which have not worked out -but now after a couple of real horrors will always chop on say 20% stop loss. So I guess these would have gone out at 80p. Worst ever trade was something called Metalrax -lost the lot. What I hadn't realised was the utter incompetence of the management. Another mistake is to get out too soon. Bt Stadium very near the low but didn't have the requisite patience to see it through.... | meijiman
12/5/2015 09:28 | Possibly the added benefit of a short squeeze to fuel an upside swing past 135 | bakunin
12/5/2015 09:25 | You managed to ignore the shorting brigade claiming it would crash to 50p then? | bakunin
12/5/2015 09:16 | Reassuring update. Tone seems to give confidence that the road map is there. Compare with the shock horror from last year. The transition from Germany to Romania seems to be on track. Anyway I'm using my rosy tinted prism on this as bt a load at 100p! | meijiman
12/5/2015 09:12 | No surprises, everything on track. The market should like that. When the company gets back to normality, the current share price will undervalue the operations quite substantially without even factoring in any future growth initiatives around the sensors side of the business. The market looks ahead 6-18 months, so there should be a steady upside swing from the current 135 resistance level, ie a breakout, and then a pause for further confirmation of progress at the interims. | bakunin

29/4/2015 09:32 | TT Electronics largest revenue by sector at 41% is in automotive and it's biggest customers, the premium German brands BMW, Mercedes and Audi all enjoyed record sales in the first quarter of this year. Overall VW was slightly down but content of TT sensors tend be higher in the premium brands: | rogerrail
28/4/2015 10:08 | I like design wins such as this from march this year even more, not a cheap device even given it is "optimised for mass-market applications" - destined to be sold in the millions: | rogerrail
28/4/2015 09:42 | CEO's options vest and he hangs on to 105,000 shares. I like that. | v11slr
10/4/2015 13:26 | Yes I'm sure he will have some strategic input into the direction of the company. Think 150p is a modest target but will do for starters. | meijiman
10/4/2015 12:38 | Surely this Neil Carson appointment is great news? 10 years as CEO of JMAT! | bakunin |
