25/11/2015 11:44 | FWIW, A French study from 2007 .... Risk of acquiring multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacilli from prior room occupants in the intensive care unit - S.Nseir1, C.Blazejewski1, R.Lubret1, F.Wallet, R.Courcol and A.Durocher1, "We conclude that admission to an ICU room previously occupied by a patient with MDR P.aeruginosa or A.baumannii is an independent risk factor for acquisition of these bacteria by subsequent room occupants. This relationship was not identified for ESBL-producing GNB." | piedro
25/11/2015 10:07 | Welcome aboard. Hopefully plenty more to come!Tristel has quite a few interesting irons in the fire and its core business is strong and strengthening given the need for better and cheaper disinfection approaches that Tristel has. Regards,Source. | source
24/11/2015 19:08 | This share is on fire. Only held just over a week an up over 20% withe the divi - wish I bough earlier but at least I am in it | davr0s

24/11/2015 14:38 | Safe disinfection process - Enables the decontamination of endoscopes and ultrasound equipment - Quick turnaround of instruments, speeding up patient throughput - Significant cost saving in comparison to fully automated washers | piedro
24/11/2015 13:35 | Not promoting but they are all aware of it as Hospital Consultants are under pressure (as is everyone in the NHS) to cut costs. | mfhmfh
24/11/2015 13:08 | mfhmfh, Thank you for the explanation. At your ENT seminar were they promoting the Tristel Wipes System? | piedro
24/11/2015 12:35 | I've been invested here for a while as my job is in the healthcare service. If you read the RNS from 11.11.14 titled 'NZ ENT study shows Tristel Wipes System benefits' it suggests that Tristel products are far superior to others in eliminating infection and also far cheaper which is what the NHS needs right now. Naso-endoscopes are what ENT(Ear, nose throat) surgeons put through people's noses and down their throat to check for things. So if Tristel products are better than the rest and cheaper than current measures, hopefully they'll be utilised more in the UK in the NHS and private setting. Hopefully sales should be better abroad in both government and private hospitals if money can be saved. The USA is obviously the big market and I would say the Gulf Arab world as well due to the local population as well as the significant number of ex-pats. All IMHO | mfhmfh
24/11/2015 12:19 | mfhmfh, I don't have much idea about Naso-endoscope cleaning - can you explain a bit TIA. | piedro
24/11/2015 12:05 | FWIW, QUALITY BUILDINGS, QUALITY CARE NOVEMBER 2015 | piedro
24/11/2015 12:02 | I went to an ENT seminar on the weekend. Just from the Naso-endoscope cleaning point of view this company's shares are definitely worth holding on to. Not that much idea about all it's other products. IMHO. | mfhmfh
23/11/2015 14:32 | Looks like this may squeeze up to 150p to 160p as rightly no one is selling given Tristels positive progress going fwd. (Can't be early good news on USA already could it?)Regards Source. | source
23/11/2015 10:17 | metis20, Thank you for the link - added to header | piedro
21/11/2015 19:30 | Ok fair points metis. Something is driving the current rise. It certainly is powering ahead. I remember the 40p days which is good :) Growth is showing no sign of slowing anyway so hopefully we can hit 150p. I think this stock is fairly illiquid and so it moves substantially on not a lot of buys. | mach100
21/11/2015 04:03 | Experts Partner to Address Resistant Bacteria Through Antibiotic Stewardship, Environmental Hygiene Stuart Levy, MD, president of the Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (APUA), and Rosie Lyles, MD, MHA, MSc, head of clinical affairs for Clorox Healthcare, share their perspectives on antimicrobial stewardship in the hospital and in the community. - Mr. Levy seems to be hung up on the Triclosan debate | piedro
20/11/2015 15:11 | Plenty more to go for Tristel I think - even without factoring in USA developments this has a lot of growth ahead of it. Firm hold for me and wish I'd bought more earlier. Regards,Source. | source
20/11/2015 14:52 | Interesting thesis metis20 but my understanding is that Tristel has 'given up' on China .TSTL tried before to enter the market but working practises in China are not conducive to doing business. Therefore at least in the case of China the uplift will be minimal. | mach100
20/11/2015 13:33 | Still going very strong and has breached my 130p target price. Wonder where this one will stop? It will surely have doubled from this price once FDA approval is bagged. A stellar performer! | mach100
20/11/2015 10:27 | ... but it would seem that Anistel is not interested. | piedro
20/11/2015 10:24 | The competition is at the events ... | piedro |
