Good point TW as I had forgotten about that sell. That would certainly make sense.

6m shares traded today @ 0.85p !! Is this another panic dump or someone balancing out the other side of the 8.5m share sale on 29/01? Suspect it may be the latter as the price rise is only a widening of the b/o spread from 1.0/1.1 to 1.0/1.25. Whilst there was an RNS following the 8.5m (4%) sale it had nothing to do with that volume of shares - IMHO someone has been sitting on a lump of stock and made £8.5k on the deal.

Somehow I doubt it will be around for more than a couple of months, thankfully I pressed entered the wrong quantity whilst buying and only ended up with about £70 worth, you owe a meal if it goes under.

Please no more penny tips I can't take it anymore lol

The other way to think about it is just common sense. We all agree they're not making enough profit to meet their debt commitments. There's been no indication that they've delayed any of their quarterly payments to HSBC, so the money has to come from somewhere, and not paying their suppliers on time would be one way IMHO

Look at the accounts and calculate their creditor and debtor days. Debtor days have gone down as they've squeezed their customers to pay faster, and the time it takes them to pay their creditors has gone up. Not rocket science.

They've already had a bank refinancing this year, hence the hefty £250k cost per the mid year numbers. Appointing yet another director on £100k+ for acquisitions is pointless when they can't even afford to pay their suppliers.

The CEO and Finance Director should do the honourable thing and fall on their swords if the full year resuls are in line with 2006, but somehow I doubt they will.

the fundamental question is whether this company is more valuable to a buyer/competitor, dead or alive. I guess it is the latter.

I would probably hang fire a few weeks. This time of the year is traditionally quiet for the industry until March time when all the Local Authority work comes in. I do know that they have a few big clients so too many big eggs possibly. Only time will tell.
