11/3/2005 16:27 | Just wait. First closing date is 1/4/05. If declared unconditional, roughly another 14 days after that before cash is sent out. So about 6 weeks in total if it doesn't fall over at any point. | cwa1
11/3/2005 16:22 | Very nice, a little compensation for missing out on the big move earlier. So I can (apparently) get 30.5p for selling now. How do I get my 32p - just wait? | monty burns
11/3/2005 16:08 | Offer at 32p confirmed. | cwa1

23/2/2005 13:52 | 28.5 to buy - proposed deal at 32p? Seems odd. Problems, maybe? Tempted... | monty burns
21/2/2005 13:14 | Looks like you are right. Still looking for more than 32p, but either way will be happy to use the money elsewhere. News re bid must be close? | loafofbread
18/2/2005 14:17 | It looks as if we are due a RNS; this amount of sells/buys is outside the norm for this share. For two years I have expected to hear that a bid was coming but this looks like something else. Will we be rewarded for our faith in holding?. | davron8
18/2/2005 09:54 | I don't think the trades on the 2nd were sells. Identical volumes at 28.5 & 28.53 is a matched pair. And given no RNS the implication is no change in beneficial - a tax manoeuvre ? But today's 8,644,911 looks like part of the end game IMO. Fingers crossed. | colonel a
08/2/2005 18:03 | He is not part of the buyout. It is existing management buying the company. Beware, the chairman has a knack of not selling the company unless his redundant role is part of the deal. | cromarty
02/2/2005 12:05 | It looks as if Mr Levene sold his 15.4% stake yesterday in two lots @ 28.5p. That said, the MM have not marked the price down, which makes me wonder why he saw fit to sell? | azalea
30/1/2005 18:55 | Duplicate. | sammu
30/1/2005 18:55 | I'm just back from holiday and obviously happy with recent events. I'm surprised the shares aren't trading at, or at least nearer to 32p, as it does seem quite possible that another purchaser may come in. I guess the company has been on the block for a long time though. Sam | sammu
28/1/2005 12:52 | Your 1072 post points the way at the moment. However we know MAN financial recently took a 3% stake before talks were admitted to (very timely and astute of them). I think interested parties are playing their cards close to their chests waiting for someone to make the first move with an actual offer, which might then prompt others? I'm pretty sure circa 32p will be put on the table and I'm continuing to hold. | azalea
28/1/2005 09:32 | SO DO YOU THINK MAN GROUP ARE BUYING INTO IT I JUST BOUGHT INTO DA. DA GROUP ABOUT 213P | soysoy
27/1/2005 22:33 | As I understand the above (and I am certainly no expert), when a company enters into a takeover/offer situation, any subsequent share transaction that involve 1% or more of the shares in issue must be declared by the party making the transaction. | azalea
27/1/2005 16:36 | soysoy. Yes, look at recent HVX and RPT postings. DYOR | azalea
27/1/2005 12:29 | thanks! have you got anthing else you got your eyes on | soysoy
27/1/2005 12:28 | Soysoy - Well done, a profit is a profit! | azalea
27/1/2005 12:25 | just sold out 3342 200 quid profit in 2 months good luck everyone else | soysoy
26/1/2005 15:52 | YES I THINK SO 40P TARGET MAY BE 2 BUYERS MAN GROUP AND MR LEVERNE | soysoy
26/1/2005 15:08 | There are still buyers coming in @ 29.80p, in which case they too must be thinking that there is more to it than a 32p offer! Up 1p. | azalea
25/1/2005 13:15 | this has made some gains don`t why | soysoy
25/1/2005 13:01 | Gents, They could have got away without saying anything, but looking back at the last few days trades it seems clear that the word was out. So by issuing a statement they're levelling the playing field. Seems fair. Also, I read the RNS giving the "indicative" price as a clear indication that things are well progressed and that the offer (should it firm up etc.) is likely to be accepted. I'm going to hold. | colonel a |
