Trinity Mirror plc ("the Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Numis Securities Ltd as part of its buyback programme announced on 1 August 2016.
Date of purchase: 12 October 2017 Number of ordinary 10p shares purchased: 15,000 Highest price paid per share: 85.00p Lowest price paid per share: 83.75p Volume weighted average price paid per share: 84.70p
The Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.
Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 9,033,620 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 274,425,951 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company 274,425,951 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
