With Oman putting in 40 per cent and Castell 20 per cent, the roaster will need bank finance and Eyi puts the total capital cost at $60 million. But the roaster will also be able to process sulphide gold deposits and Eyi argues, since ‘the only other roasters for sulphide concentration ore are in China,’ gold miners will also -- and indeed have already begun to -- beat a path to Tri-Star’s door.

He even suggests the roaster could generate $60 million a year, for a dramatically fast pay-back, which, if it happened, would help fund planned mining developments. Tri-Star reckons it could cost $30 to $40 million to go into production at Bald Hill in New Brunswick, Canada, holding an unofficially estimated 50,000 tonnes at a grade of 5 per cent.

According to Eyi, trenching indicates potential for significant resource expansion at Bald Hill. Tri-Star claims an unofficial 20,000 tonnes at grades from 5 to 12 per cent at Goyuk, a former operating mine in western Turkey, also with potential for expansion.

Clinching the right off-take deals would be crucial for the mines, says Eyi, though, as with the roaster, he maintains Tri-Star would hold the cards. Tri-Star is a medium to long-term punt for believers.

On 23 July 2010, the Company announced that it had conditionally agreed to acquire 99 per cent. of the issued share capital of Tri-Star for a maximum consideration of £300,000, of which £150,000 is payable in cash on completion of the Acquisition and a further £150,000 is payable in cash if and when Tri-Star's exploration activities establish that the Goynuk mine is commercially viable and the Company raises an amount of funding sufficient to facilitate continued development of the mine and to cover current contractual obligations which would arise from making that decision.

Sign of forthcoming news when a strange trading pattern appears. The 25k online restricted selling has been in place nearly all day. Mms have managed to virtually dry up trades today after the first 90 minutes at 92 - 94. If they are trying to panic ppl into selling via NT the ploy is not working.

Yep, they`ll take quantity at 85. Sumat defo up as they try last ditch attempt to get ultracheap shares.
I think we may be seeing 1 or 2 D trades later.

Online sells limited to 25k at 90. Gives the impression that mms do not want the shares.
Remember that these ppl are practised in the art of deception . Couldnt be hoping for pis to see this and start enquiring about offloading 250k or so and being offered 85 as a goodwill gesture, by any chance? Who`ll bite?
