Transvision Resources Plc ('the Company')
Statement regarding share price movement
The Company notes the rise in its share price today and announces that it is
unaware of any specific reason for this. The Board would like to reiterate an
extract from the Interim Results announcement released by the Company on 31
'The Board is aware of the new requirements in the AIM rules in relation to the
position of investment vehicles and continues to actively pursue acquisition
opportunities with a view to identifying an exciting and profitable opportunity
and making a suitable acquisition prior to 1st April 2006.'

It's good to hear that a deal may be on the cards soon.
Quoting percentage movement on such an infrequently traded stock really needs qualifying in terms of history of movement:
Just before Xmas, post consolidation, the price was 7p bid, 8p offer. After a brief closing of the spread to 7.5p bid, 8p offer, the price reverted to the former on 29 December.
On 20 January, the bid dropped (6p/8p), and on 31 January, the price was quoted at 5.5p/7p.
Following your purchase of 100,000 shares today, the price increased to 7p/9p.
I do not doubt that TVR might well "take off", but most of this company's share price movements in % terms, IMO, are double digit!
