yes, I think you're right UKHawk, I reckon in a few years time these takeover's will look a steal - I reckon the Glazers had a result at Man U.

Problems come when there's a recession and money gets tight but for the foreseeable future these clubs look like they are going to be rolling in it with the big TV deals and the like.

They're now saying promotion to the PL is worth minimum £60m, which just shows how cheap this is , takeover or no takeover.

firm again today - up 25% in a fortnight, hopefully the co will be forced to do a 'reason for share price movement' statement eventually.

Sugar must be gutted.

Bet take-over talk for prem clubs is all over the press this weekend - they ar ebeing bought up like hot cakes.

Interest from abroad for Premiership Clubs - latest is Man City - Spurs should not be far behind, and, although I hate to say it unless we get lodsamoney from the US we will not be able to compete with the big 3(sic).
