23/4/2017 21:10 | This is what social care needs from the green paper to avert a crisis We'll have to wait for the results of the General Election to see who comes into power to see what their plans are for Social Care and the NHS... | sikhthetech
23/4/2017 20:53 | Porky, thanks... good article highlighting what Tly do and the current status.. When they started D2C, the plan was to recruit 10,000 patients in the 1st year... with about 2 months to go, it'll be interesting to see how many they have recruited.. The 35,000 coaching sessions, in about a year, is very impressive... | sikhthetech
23/4/2017 20:31 | Thanks Porky. I think we may get a good rise tomorrow morning.... In the end sadly I can't make the AGM tomorrow. Even for me occasionally work gets in the way of my investing 😜 Nobby | nobbygnome
23/4/2017 19:24 | Sikhthetech Good coverage in the Mail . | porky8

04/4/2017 13:34 | Henderson transfer their funds to Lombard... This is after Lombard bought a Henderson subsidary, so it's a transfer of fund... "The transition of the team is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2017, after which the alternative funds and sub-manager of the long-only fund currently managed by the Volantis investment management team will be moved across to Lombard Odier IM." | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 14:35 | nobby, well spotted.. | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 14:24 | Was just looking at the About Health website and there was an additional contract extension announced on the 7th March with Lancashire North CCG, which was not the subject of an RNS! The contract is worth £120k for a year starting this month. I guess they are winning so many contracts they don't announce all of them..... Nobby | nobbygnome
03/4/2017 13:42 | nobby, absolutely, with the cash, huge II support and BoD's optimism, it is looking positive... BH has set himself a nice short term target and the BoD's 'add and build' strategy' seems to be progressing well... The BoD now need to back up their comments with solid financials... | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 13:36 | porky, absolutely... 1 or 2 great acquisitions and the share price will fly... Now they have the money, I wonder how they are doing with the 4 they were thinking about... Hopefully, they would have a better idea and started DD by the time of the agm... | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 13:26 | FWIW I have just looked at the 5 year chart. If you believe in TA, you will be able to see that a long term bowl is forming. The top of the bowl is 190p and should be reached later this year according to the chart, which ironically would equate to a market cap of about 100 million! So all over bar the shouting 🤔....... Nobby | nobbygnome
03/4/2017 12:01 | Thanks Porky for the link. Excellent interview which reinforces my positive view about the company and Bob Holt! The target of £100 million market cap has been repeated so just a three fold increase from here..... Nobby | nobbygnome
03/4/2017 11:59 | Sikhthetech , Yep ..... 2 Bumper Aquisitions ....... | porky8
03/4/2017 11:55 | Porky, would be nice if BH can achieve his target of mcap of £100m by year end... | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 11:48 | nobby, it also increases TLY's footprint... | sikhthetech
03/4/2017 11:17 | Two more good contracts announced today. Yes they are only worth £70k per year but the length of the contracts show the consistent year on year income. I think TLY is my favourite share in my portfolio currently with absolutely great prospects for the short and medium term! Nobby | nobbygnome
31/3/2017 17:28 | Nice to see directors transferring shares to their ISA... shows they expect them to do really well, so they won't have to pay cgt... also given capital losses cannot be claimed from ISA, they must expect the price to appreciate considerably.. | sikhthetech
31/3/2017 13:39 | 10 charts that show why the NHS is in trouble 4. The UK's population is ageing People are living with a growing number of long-term chronic conditions - diabetes, heart disease and dementia. These are more about care than cure - what patients usually need is support. By the age of 65, most people will have at least one of these illnesses. By 75 they will have two. 8. Demand for A&E is rising Not all of this is down to people with these chronic conditions, but they tend to be the cases that take the most care. Two-thirds of hospitals beds are occupied by the one-third of the population with a long-term condition. There are attempts to change this. To place more emphasis on care outside hospital. NHS England chief executive Simon Stevens has set out a five-year plan to create more integrated care, which involves hospital services working more closely with their local community teams. Similar moves are being made in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There also an emphasis on prevention - getting people to be more active, eat better diets and drink less. 9. Fewer older people are getting help with social care But perhaps the biggest problem is council-run social care. This encompasses day centres, help in the home for tasks such as washing and dressing, and good quality care in care homes during the final years of life. It is seen as essential to keep people well and living independently - and out of hospital. In an era when the population is ageing you would expect more people to be getting help from the state. However, the opposite is true. In England over the past four years, the number of older people getting help has fallen by a quarter. The result is large numbers going without care or having to pay for it themselves. | sikhthetech
30/3/2017 22:37 | 278k sell just before close... | sikhthetech
29/3/2017 13:51 | Nobby, sorry, I don't know if there will be a presentation. | sikhthetech
29/3/2017 13:40 | From the placing rns.. "Of the identified pipeline, the Directors have a preferred list of four target companies although no formal approaches or negotiations have yet begun. The anticipated consideration for the pipeline of acquisitions identified by the Group ranges from GBP3 million to GBP15 million with the pipeline of acquisitions having revenue of up to GBP60 million" | sikhthetech |
