Egoi - Off topic
I assume SF is not working for anyone
Do you think it's a temporary fault or is it RIP SF?
I sense that Conrad has lost interest.

Crikey guys....there was a clue in the date 3/23/10 !

That was US. research on a totally different company which probably explains the ticker being different....lol

That is not to say that this one is performing any differently mind you !

Might have looked a tad more professional and credible if they'd:

A: Got the ticker correct.
B: Got the Company name correct.

Bazooka that Benzinga? :)

Still has net assets of 40p including cash of 32p +

And a property worth much more than its book value. I just wish they would release this value to shareholders somehow.

Not really - their announcememnts always read like there's been a recent death in the family - and they're still a lot lower than cash & property. By far the bigger risk is that of delisting. If they'd clear that one up once and for all - they'd suddenly have a lot more capital to work with.

It is a brave investor that buys in with that trading announcement even if cash balances are good.

Absolutely classic TTS-speak.

Bottom line sounds like they need new contracts.

They say 'prospects taking longer than normal to convert to sales.'

How long since they last announced a contract win? Too long I'd venture!

Where are the Bulls,
The Capita contract and how that represented a step change in prospects?.

Have they ever replaced the Sales Director who left sometime back?.

The story is old but it goes on . .

Wow, it actually went up!?Could be a purchase of shares by the Company for cancellation but I doubt it as too small. It seems that commercial Property prices have bottomed.

P, I looked at the value of their Office a while ago using the then yield on commercial Property v rental income and value per sq ft arriving at a figure of some £4mln. If I remember correctly they paid approx £750k for Property around 1987 which is now carried in their books for about £500k-benchmarking the purchase price against the rise in commercial Property gave a value of £4.8mln

Yep P,apologies, I've double checked and you're right, it's not in the "City" or "Square Mile" as it is often referred to, an area 1.6mln by 2.8mln containing 393 streets, the heart of London's financial district. The actual boundary runs along City Road so I presumed their address was just inside whereas the opposite is true.I used to walk from Liverpool Street to my Office in City Road every mornng and although it was a while ago, I remember it being a 5/10 minute walk.

That is a sizeable first half loss.
I do note that this does not include the full effect of the cost
reduction measures.

Reading back on this thread some here argued that the Capita contract
represented a step change for Total Systems, this has clearly
proven not to be the case in my view.

I can see value here, but a single Majority shareholder
makes this a more complex value play.
There may be a long wait.

There may also exit an outside possibility that Total Systems could decide to delist, then what happens to the share price?.

Its one for the brave in my opinion, and the spread is prohibitive.

Rainmaker: Office is not in the City proper. Not even Tiger Woods could drive a ball from the front of the offices to Liverpool Street, but he could easily hit the Angel Islinton tube station.

That said (imo & dyor) it is probaly still undervalued even after the current property crash.

The real question is "How to unlock the value for shareholers" As TB is the major shareholder it may need to wait until he wants to start drawing his pension. Can anyone do a dcf on this basis.

This bit was interesting.

"...It is comforting for customers to know that we have a more stable financial platform than the vast majority of our competitors. Existing clients as well as sales prospects can have confidence that we are financially strong and will be there to support them in the future..."

Are some of their competitors in trouble? Perhaps TTS will be able to use their financial might and pick them up cheaply.

Loss of 3p a share, balance sheet pretty much intact (cash 32p per share, no debt, assets 40p).

New product launched, yet more cost savings to kick in H2.

Promise of more sales............

...........Been here before haven't we?
