JimmyWilsonShould ignore morecrud, he's the resident ramping troll. Not capable of taking onboard a contrarian view, hence he now frequents the ramping thread along with fellow ramper dice.He can't answer any questions about the business, as per kkc56 earlier question, he only spouts rubbish and apparent rumours - this is going to be taken over again apparently, well so his insiders tell him! (isn't that illegal?).DD

WOW, so as I present a different opinion to the holders here I should be attacked? Lets not get so petty - its a forum - discuss different ideas to help us all make money.

I wish the holders the best here - I held this at one point and in my line of work have had dealings with Topps - its a great company overall.

The Pound has been recovering strongly for the last couple days and that was the reason of the stock market bouncing back, but as there is a seller on the market TPT has NOT, once the order for sell is finish should be bouncing back fast.

A small improvement on the bid side, but at the moment there is a seller @ 100p on the order book and when the last trade has been taken with an "AT" another one is place on small amounts.

Once the seller is gone the movement up will be fast as there was large trades meaning interest on the stock but testing the waters at the moment

Some big buys going through on almost 2m volume.... Haven't seen such large volume here for a while. These must be about to climb back up.

Judging by the buying volume today I'd say the punters are in the same frame of mind as I am.

The company imports all their stock from abroad - I assume will pay for this in dollars so their margins will be squeezed.

The company has a lot of debt

General retail outlook.

These are the bear's view of Topps.

Why would anyone be selling these at the mo? So undervalued based on last results and the future looks so positive with these imho

From the UPS thread not long ago .........

UPS
TPT 99.75p ( 99.50 - 100p )

Signs of moving higher ahead of results soon. Has been well marked down after the Brexit and has not yet recovered like the House builders. Last update was bullish with revenue up by 6.2% the best for some time. Strong order book on the bid side and volume rising for the last couple days.

So undervalued right now. With LFL sales up by 6.2% announced last week these should be back to the £1.35-£1.40 range by now. The potential over the next quarter looks promising too with their new XL ranges that are so in demand at the moment. The revenue they will produce with this new range will be high IMHO and will see their decision to exit the wood market a wise one.
