I still can't believe I have now managed to pick up 2.9% of this company for only £9.7k. I think I've a good chance of getting my money back even if it goes bust. If it doesn't go bust, and my hunch is that it won't, the upside potential is massive. Remember net tangible assets are around 60p per share and the shares can be bought for 3p. Whether it is from profit recovery or a bid, this discount can't last forever.

If the bank negotiations are successful, I suggest you take a good look at the situation and the results to be announced on the 30th.

A risk/reward situation worthy of note.

I still can't believe I have managed to pick up 2.6% of this company for only £8k. I think I've a good chance of getting my money back even if it goes bust. Topnotch Health Clubs will:

1) Go bust, because bank negotiations fail, or;
2) Recover trading following successful bank
negotiations, or;
3) Be subject to a bid from a competitor, or;
4) Get taken private.

In all scenarios, I can't see shareholders getting anything less than the current market cap. In scenarios 3 and 4, I see the potential for a significant premium. In scenario 2, I see the potential for massive gains when profitability returns, given NTA of c.60p per share.

I hold 425,000 (2.6%).

Just bought 40,000 (at 1.5p) - Trading Statement says Directors confident of reaching an agreement with Bank over financing - snap a few up for a quick profit.
